Remembering Gene (Bhuta)

Mommy thought that Bhuta was a very special Father-in-Law and she loved him very much. She was always very excited to see him and Grandma when they would come visit us or when we would visit them. We went on many adventures together- before we had Oliver and after. Bhuta always had something special going on in his life- and it is very evident around his home.

Mommy wants to share some of these things with Oliver and others so we can remember what a special person Bhuta was, he will be in our hearts forever.

Bhuta's Monkey that welcomed guests

His sunflower seeds- found in his tool box....
Where he enjoyed hanging out- toolbox, racecar on the wall,
radio to play his music and those sunflower seeds in the toolbox.

His display of antique tools and those traffic light thingies
lined up precisely on the fence. He probably spent along
time figuring out how to perfectly display his treasures.

A closer look at some of his treasures

The traffic light thingies- these are all over antique stores-
they have dates on them- really cool- Bhuta liked to look
at how old they were and where they came from.
Special iron door knobs that are on all the doors in the house.
They are one of a kind, and Bhuta was very proud of them.

A collection of old bats, golf bag, and fishing pool
in the pool table room. Many of his treasures are in this room.

An old saw, he was really into collecting tools.
He also liked the Three Stooges....

Cabinets with his treasures...gloves, cans he found hiking...

Bhuta was very handy and he made these beautiful shelves for Grandma
He also made this beautiful rack in the kitchen.
It is breathtaking.

His cats Sammy and Rudy (orange). Rudy and Bhuta
were best buds.
His Beautiful Children....
Bhuta's Hat

We love you Bhuta!
