Birthday Celebration at Chuck E. Cheeses

On the Jeep at Chuck E. Cheeses
(Grandma took this with her new camera- pretty cool!)

On the way to the Y this morning- Oliver saw Planet Earth on the back of this
Uhaul truck. He said we live there! (He brought it up.)

Oliver took off his shoes and put them in the container (himself)
to play in the play structure

Amanda found a breezy area- we had fun standing under it....

The Birthday party- tons of our scholars- Fun!!!

Oliver got to sit at the end of the table with Connor
Lucky Boy!!!

Oliver hopped on stage and danced with Chuck E. Cheese
(Mommy was not near him, so she is not sure if he was prompted by his friends
or if he did it on his own accord!)

Oliver helped Connor blow out the candles-
he is getting ready to blow in this picture- can you tell...

Yummy....

Oliver is in that cage! Fun!!!

Oliver had a wonderful day! In the morning we went to the Y and played- it was awesome! Oliver had a friend who also brought a monster truck and they played at Childwatch together. (The boy, Wesley is like seven---Oliver always makes friends that are older!!!) After we met Grandma in the parking lot and we all headed over to Chuck E. Cheeses for Connor's Birthday Party!

Oliver had so much FUN!!!! He was like one of the big kids, he sat at the table with them, ate with them, laughed with them, listened to them....it was pretty cool how he kind of just fit in! (He is only 2 1/2 and he was hanging out with a bunch of boys 6 and up!!!) We had a great time!

Later we came home and played some more. Oliver didn't take a nap, but he took a relaxing bike ride to the Lake Hodges Boat Ramp with Daddy. Oliver was safe and wore his special bicycle helmet. They had a great time together. Oliver ate dinner and then took a playful bath. He fell asleep pretty quickly afterwards. He has had a fun eventful day full of friends and family.

Oliver had a wonderful day. He kept Mommy and Daddy warm this morning by joining them in bed. After a bit he ran his monster truck up and down Mommy- waking her up!!! We played and ate breakfast then left for Grammie's with Daddy.

We arrived at Grammies around 10:15 Oliver got to play with Grammie while Mommy and Daddy went to Kalyn and Joey's wedding reception at the Prado in Balboa Park. It was great fun. We enjoyed seeing family and friends and liked watching the happy couple together.

When we picked up Oliver- Grandma came in to see him too. He loves being with both his Grandmas at the same time. He has so much love in his little heart! Oliver played a lot at Grammie's and he got to watch some Winter Olympics with her- Grammie said Oliver learned about cross country skiing. (Mommy wants Oliver to learn how to ski soon...) Oliver had a nice nap and a nice cozy, rainy, evening with his Mommy.

He wanted to help....

So Cute!!!

Oliver started this very detailed picture of a monster truck,
himself, and Daddy this morning....he is filling in all the white spaces with
his orange marker...it is very interesting how he was so into it! He did not
want to leave it this morning or tonite when he was working on it!

Oliver had a great day- he woke up to a lot of excitement....Mommy told him all about his baby cousin who was born early this morning! (See our post below this one!!!) He is so excited- he wants to teach Angie how to walk and he will defenitly share his monster trucks with her!

We went to the Y in the morning to play and then went to lunch with Connor, Eileen, Danielle, and Baby James. It was tons of fun. The Spaghetti Factory has lots of neat stuff! Mommy had fun making Baby James laugh- his cheeks are so kissable!!! Danielle's are too!!! She is talking so much- it is fun when we get to see them!!! Oliver and Connor had a good time playing with each other- they are such good friends!

Later after Oliver's nap we went to Sizzler with Daddy. It was super fun (its kind of cheesy, but Mommy really likes that restaurant...) Oliver had a wonderful Friday full of fun and friends.

"My Mornings with Oliver"

Oliver playing a little while ago with Uncle Joey and Daddy. He misses
his Uncle Joey!

Oliver had a really great day! He spent the morning with Daddy and as you can read below, they had a great day!

An E-mail Daddy sent to Mommy:

I love mornings with Oliver. He slept till 7:30 and then wanted waffles and juice. We played monster trucks and I didn't take him until 9:30.

Mommy loves that Daddy helps so much with Oliver in the morning! Mommy gets to exercise and get things done at work and Daddy and Oliver get to spend some fun times together! Mommy picked Oliver up in the afternoon- he helped Mommy return some more books at the library and then we came home! Oliver took an awesome bath and now he is watching a video we got last night at the library- its about fire trucks and trash trucks. He is really enjoying the videos we are borrowing from the library! We had a great day and can't wait to spend tomorrow together!

Naked-Naked

Playing soccer at home over the weekend!

Oliver had a wonderful day! He went to Joan's in the morning- but before he left he took a shower with Daddy. He did the "naked, naked" run before he got in the shower! He runs around the house singing that little song- its really cute!

He had a great day at Joan's house and Mommy picked him up a little early. We dropped by Grammies' to give her something- then we went to the library to get some more books for Mommy's classroom and for Oliver! We met Aunt Ali there who was just getting off work! Fun! Oliver kissed the baby in her belly! He told her he thinks it will be a girl- we will find out tomorrow!

Oliver and Mommy ate dinner together and now we are resting and watching a Thomas video! Ready for ni-ni!

Just a minute

The boys are behind a tree at the bottom of the hill....

Playing with our beautiful black dog!!!

Oliver had a good day. He went to Joan's with Daddy- he was a little bummed that Daddy wouldn't drive the work Jeep to Joan's house. But Daddy didn't give in- Oliver cried for a while and he told Mommy about it when she picked him up. Amanda and Mommy picked up Oliver at Joan's house- they were carpooling from a meeting in Murrieta and couldn't make it to Mommy's car in time. We got to Mommy's car and said goodbye to Amanda and we drove home.

Once home Oliver wanted to play in the car for awhile. First he told Mommy just a minute then he said about 5 minutes. He is started to use time to explain things- not sure if he totally understands the concept yet- but its cute!

We ate dinner with Daddy then Mommy and Oliver laid down together to watch Cars. We went to Oliver's room pretty fast and went to bed. We were tired today!

"The Red Balloon"

"The Red Balloon"

Oliver had a great day. He went to Joan's house in Daddy's work jeep- then he played all day with his good friends. Mommy picked him up and they came home to make dinner and play. Oliver helped Daddy make venison burgers at the campground. They brought the burgers up to the house and we had a nice dinner. Oliver played a little more with Mommy and now Daddy and Oliver are watching our new favorite movie, "The Red Balloon."

It was a nice Monday.

Strawberry Gems

Oliver's First Issue of Turtle Magazine (Love it!)

Our ingredients and the recipe

The recipe- if you click on the picture it should make it bigger
just in case you want to try it!
We used dried strawberries from Trader Joe's instead of fresh....

Master Chef at work

He was so serious and excited to share his creations.
He helped Mommy spread the cream cheese on with the knife.

He thought this was pretty funny- Mommy thinks its funny too!

Oliver had a great Sunday hanging out at home with Mommy and Daddy. We played and did chores all day long! At breakfast time Mommy and Oliver made Strawberry Gems, we found the recipe in Oliver's Turtle magazine. So we bought some of the ingredients at the grocery store yesterday and made them this morning! Oliver had fun looking for dried strawberries that looked like hearts. We all enjoyed eating them- especially Daddy!

Oliver went to Home Depot with Daddy for a little bit (they watched a Forklift) and then to Henry's with Mommy (he pushed the little cart and put it away properly- he also put a stray little cart away too-he is such a good helper.) In the evening he helped Daddy put some pictures on the walls and fix our curtain rod! Oliver had his hammer out and was ready! He played with Daddy until bedtime- we all had a great day.
