Happy Halloween! Oliver had a great time going to the Vons center to trick or treat by Uncle Joeys! We took a little break and then went to some houses. Oliver got tired on the 2nd round! But we had so much fun! Oliver was a little monkey, his costume got a little warm, so we took his top off! He had two bananas, a crazy uncle, a dog, and plain clothes person (Daddy/Kalyn) as his escorts! We had a great Halloween!!!!

Oliver loves pumpkins. Tonite we went to the pumpkin patch down the street. Oliver played with the wheelbarrow, pumpkins, and he went down the giant blow up slide with Daddy. They went down the slide about 20 times, they had so much fun. Oliver is such a little daredevil! He also could spot me out down below and would wave and say Mama. Everyday, he is showing how much he likes getting into things and being a little crazy daredevil, sometimes it scares me!

Today Oliver and I woke up early. We fed Ranger first thing so he would be ready to run with us! Oliver and I then got ready and ran a short run with our best friend. Then we rushed to the pool! Oliver says a new word everyday and today it was pool! He loves jumping in the pool after he practices climbing out! He has a hug smile on his face when he does it! He also loves going under the water! We signed up for classes for next month, it is so much fun!

After the Y, we went to get some slippers for Mama and a notebook for Daddy at Target. Oliver found some slippers he liked, they are like his Lightening McQueen car! He looked at them and said car. If one came off today he would bring it to me and have me help him put it back on! After Target we went and fed Patches and hung out with her for awhile. Then we went to the library. He loves coloring and sitting in the seats. We read a few pages of a book that had babies in it!

When we got hom we took a nice nap and then Oliver and Daddy played like crazy! Oliver loves to play with his Daddy! After Oliver's dinner, Uncle Joey and Kalyn came over. Oliver showed them his new helmet and his car slippers!

Today was fun! We went for a long run with Ranger in the morning! Then we came home and Oliver played with Daddy for awhile. Daddy told Oliver all about his adventures the night before! It sounded like fun! Later Oliver and I made our way to Aunt Jessica's to visit Patches and make pumpkin bars again!!! (This time we are trying to change the recipe to make them whole wheat and healthier, we are on the right track!)

We went for a nice walk in the Carlsbad village, and Oliver was a little cuddler in the afternoon! We had fun together today!

Oliver and I went to swim this morning at the YMCA. He loves going underwater, he gets really excited and smiles while I am counting to three. He is even trying to count with me! After swim we had to go to the pet store and get dog some food, Oliver discovered some cats! Later we went for a noon run and Oliver took a nap, he slept when we got home too! He had a great nap!

When he woke up we had more errands to run. We picked up his portraits at Sears! Oh he is so cute! Then we went to Toys r Us were they kindly exchanged Oliver's mountain bike for a tricycle! He is very satisfied with our choice. He will miss his mtn. bike though! Then we visited Patches, saw Aunt Allison over there too, and then went for a stroll with Aunt Katy who lives on the same street as Aunt Jessica. (We like to hang out at Aunt Jessica's it is so close to so many things!) We had a great day! We can't wait till the morning to hear about Daddy's adventures he is surveying deer on the Miramar Airbase tonite! We wonder if he will see other cool animals as well---bobcats, coyotes, and mountain lions!!!!

Oliver had a good day. He went for a really long run in the morning, he is keeping his training up! For lunch he ate yummy ribs, made by Kalyn and Uncle Joey. He got to see Patches later.

We woke up early to the awesome sound of owls hooting outside. We went on the balcony and saw one on the roof and heard the others! Oliver will hoot now when we ask him what sound an Owl makes!

Mama, Oliver, and Ranger went for a nice run and then we got ready to go to Oliver's 1st race. A tot trot Halloween Fun Run. Oliver dressed up like a runner! He had a huge audience, Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Joey and Kalyn, Grammie, and Aunt Jessica! (Daddy was mountain bike riding with a friend!) Oliver did great! Mama had to guide him and hold him for a little bit! At the end they did a raffle drawing for a grand prize and guess who won? Oliver! He won a mountain bike, wow!!!! He was pretty excited and so were the rest of us!

Afterwards, Oliver and I went to the library and hung out! We had to return some books, and we colored a cool picture with pumpkins on it! We went home and took a nice nap and then went to Mama's school with Daddy for the Halloween carnival. While Mama worked the ticket booth, Oliver and Daddy walked around and played! We had a fun day, Oliver is sleeping well now!

Oliver had a good day at daycare. He got to play with his friends and lots of toys! When Mama picked him up they hung out with the kids for a little bit and then went home. We drove to Stagecoach Park to eat dinner there with Daddy who met us on his bike! Oliver ate yummy food, burned extra energy, and met the sweetest little girl who shared her tricycle and helmet with Oliver. He is getting some good rest now, getting ready for his first running race in the morning!

Oh, my Oliver is so cute! He has so much fun with the kids at daycare. He walks up the path to Stephanie's door on his own and is even knocking! He loves to play with his friends and all the educational toys! When I get there he keeps playing and it makes me feel good to see him so social!

Today when we got home Mama made Donna's Pumpkin Bars while Oliver played with Daddy. Oliver invesitagated the mixing machine and was very interested in the noise that came from it! He probably remembers when Mama wore him in the Baby Bjorn and they baked and cooked everyday together!

Today Oliver went to daycare while Mama and Daddy went to work. Oliver had a good day, he really likes Stephanie and the kids. Oliver and Mama met Aunt Jessica and went running at the boardwalk, the weather was really nice and the waves were beautiful. We had a good day.

This morning Oliver and I went for a long run. We did a little grocery shopping on the way home--Mama got a workout, whoa the stroller was heavy! Later we stopped by to see Aunt Allison at her work and then went to Aunt Jessica's to hang out with Patches. Oliver took a nice nap there and Mama used Aunt Jessica's kitchen to do a test run of my friend Donna's famous pumpkin bars! Yummo! Oliver really likes hanging out at Aunt Caca's house. After we baked we went for a walk in downtown Carlsbad, and then came back to find Aunt Caca home from work. We hung out with her for a little bit and then went to swim class at the Y.





Oliver is getting really good at swimming! He loves to kick his feet and go under! He laughs in the water and makes all the adults laugh! He is such a happy little water baby! We came home and Oliver really enjoyed eating Grandma's fish from pellys and then he went for a bike ride with Daddy. Afterwards Mama put him to bed, he fell asleep listening to her novel!

This morning Oliver and I took Ranger on a long run, we left early, it was a beautiful morning! Afterwards we rushed off to our swim class- Oliver is really enjoying it! He is getting really good at going under and today he even stepped into the pool after he practiced climbing out! (We sing Humpty Dumpty when the babes are standing on the edge!) After we showered Oliver played for a bit at the big Lego station inside, while Mama signed up for another month of swim lessons!

Afterwards we went across the street to see Aunt Katy. She is a nurse at a really special Alzheimer's Home. Oliver loves seeing his Aunt Katy and it was nice seeing some of the patients interact with Oliver. He even found a kitty cat prowling through the hallways.

The rest of the day we just kind of relaxed, played with Daddy, went for a walk, took a nap. It was a nice Monday.

Today was awesome! We woke up early and helped get ready for the ALS walk. Oliver saw his Aunt Katy in the kitchen and looked at her curiously, he has never seen her in the kitchen at 6:30 in the morning!


We arrived at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay to participate in the ALS walk. We were walking for a good cause. Oliver's grandpa was diagnosed with ALS also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease in June of this year. We were walking in honor of Oliver's special Grandpa. It was a beautiful day and it was so nice spending it with so many caring people. Oliver had a lot of fun riding on Grandpa's lap and getting to know friends after the walk.

Fun Saturday

This morning Oliver and I went for a long run at the Carlsbad Boardwalk. It was beautiful! On the way home coming up the road we saw a horse (near where we were yesterday) Oliver reached out for the horsie! When we got home Oliver played for a long time with Daddy, then went to the library with Mama, came home and took a nap, and then had an early dinner.

He had a really happy full day!

Today Oliver had a good day. He went to daycare and played with his good friends. Stephanie made him crack up and she showed me what she did. She put a cup on her hear and pretended to sneeze and Oliver has a laughing fit. I tried it at home and got the same reaction!

When we got home Oliver played with Grandma a little. When we were leaving to go on a little walk, Oliver blew kisses back at Grandma! Oh my, it was so cute! We went for a short walk down the street to visit the horses we drive by everyday. Oliver had fun talking to them, one of them came to the fence when we clicked our tounges (yes, Oliver clicks!). It kept stomping its hoof on the ground! We really enjoyed the show! On our way home we saw an airplane in the sky and 4 hot air balloons! Oliver had fun seeing his Daddy when he got home. It was a nice day!

Oliver went to daycare today while Mama and Daddy went to work. When we got home we went on a run with Ranger, doggy needed it! When we got home Uncle Joey and Kalyn were here so Oliver brought in some fresh lavendar to Uncle Joey. Oliver played with his uncle and his doggy Ian (Oliver loves that mellow dog!). He was laughing a lot! His Grandma gave him a warm bath. He had a good day.

Today we had a great day. We woke up around 6:30, Daddy was playing with Oliver's feet, and Oliver would laugh really hard and then say DaDa! It was really funny! We ate breakfast, did some chores, and then went to swim class. Oliver went under 4 times! He also kicked his feet a little! After that we went to pick some stuff up at his Grammie's house, and we hung out with Grandpa for a little while. We went home and took a nap, and then played around the house.

Oliver got his portraits taken at Sears in the afternoon and we ran a few errands. Oliver's pics are going to be sooooooo cute....... I can't wait to post them!

Today Oliver and I ran in the morning, the Santa Ana winds were strong and dry. Oliver wore his little Old Navy Scorpion Jacket. Afterwards we played at home, Mama took a shower and Oliver handed her a towel when she was done! After we talked with Uncle Joey, who came over to hang out. Oliver loves his Uncle Joey (Y-Y).
Oliver and I then went to the coffee shop to meet Robin and Aunt Jessica (Ca-Ca) for lunch. Then we went to the library and then came home and took a long nap. After that we went to Grammie's house to help Aunt Jessica give Patches a bath. Oliver had fun playing with everyone, Uncle Kelly and Aunt Allison came over too! When we came home, Oliver watched Daddy use a saw and got to ride around the garage with his Grandpa!
He fell asleep to Mama reading her novel to him.

Today we had a good day. We went for an early run with Ranger and then Oliver and I went to swim class at the YMCA. Oliver likes Ms. Megan, she held him in the pool for a little bit and even gave him a kiss on the cheek. Afterwards we rinsed off in the warm shower and headed for the Pediatrician's office. Oliver had his 15 month check up. Here are his stats:

6% Weight He weighs about 21 1/2 lbs.


Dr. Rubin could tell that Oliver is very active, and when I told her all that he eats she thinks that his activity attributes to the "low weight". Oliver has a little belly and some fat rolls so we are not worried!


Afterwards we came home and took a nap then Oliver went over to Grammie's and hung out with her and Grandpa while Mama went to a dentist appointment. We came home and Oliver had fun with Daddy and ate some yummo chicken that Grandma made and played with Grandpa.
