We had so much fun today! Oliver spent the day with Mommy (Spring Break!!!). We ate breakfast together, stopped by Joan's to get his Easter basket, say hi to his friends and then we went to the Y to play and exercise. Afterwards we stopped by Trader Joe's (he loves that store!). Then we picked up Grandma and went to pick strawberries at the Carlsbad Strawberry Fields! It was so much fun, cool, juicy, beautiful day! Oliver had fun picking, eating, and running down the rows and then up the hill! (He loves to run- wonder were he got that from???) After we stopped by the Hot Dog on a Stick stand and Oliver ate a yummy Hot Dog on a Stick. He enjoyed watching the girl mash the lemons for the lemonade!

After we took Grandma home, we made our way home, took a little rest, then played, made deviled eggs, Oliver helped Daddy in the garden, he helped Mommy get the trash cans- he rode his Lightening car all the way to the main street! In the evening he did his regular routine and fell fast asleep on the little couch! It was a great day! Mommy wishes it was Spring Break everyday!

Making Eggs

Oliver had a good Tuesday. In the morning he went to the dump with Daddy. He had fun watching Daddy unload everything, other men do things, and the tractors too! After he made his way to the Joan's house. He had a great day there with his friends. They are working on special Easter baskets!

After Mommy picked up Oliver at Joan's- he got upset outside when he remembered that Daddy was supposed to pick him up! Mommy took Oliver to Grandma's to meet Grandma and Daddy there for Daddy. Oliver cried most the way because his routine was off a little. That happens sometimes- We had fun playing kitchen, eating yummy fish, and making easter eggs. Oliver got to decorate them with Grandma and put on special stickers. Fun!

Oliver drove home in Bhuta's truck with Daddy and now we are watching Thomas the Train and getting ready for bed. (Mommy is ready....she got up at 3:00 this morning and went to sit in line at the YMCA to enroll Oliver in the 3 year old preschool for the fall. It was on a first come basis- Mommy was successful- the things we do for our babes!)

Helping Baby Rachel

Wearing his new hat...he looked like a little dinosaur explorer
Choosing strollers and car seats for Aunt Ali- the one
he is pointing at has an owl pattern

Surrounded by pink things...he is going to get used to it
with two girl cousins (Angie and Rachel!)

Oliver had a great day! He played with Mommy and Daddy in the morning and then he left with Mommy to go to Joan's house! On the way there they stopped by to give Grammie kisses and pumpkin bars (it was fun seeing Grammie!) Oliver had a great time playing with his friends all day and then he had fun singing Hullabaloo songs on the way home. We stopped by Target to meet Aunt Ali and help her register for some essentials for the baby in her belly. The baby is a little girl who will most likely be called Rachel! We love that name!

We had a great time then came home to see Daddy and do our nightly routine. Oliver is watching Thomas the Train now and he is wearing his Thomas the Train jammies. He is such is a cutie patooty!

Indigo

This tractor/forklift thingy was at the top of the hill- wonder
what its for...

Mommy loves taking pictures of the lake! You can see the
boats!

You can see our house from the steep hill.

Oliver used the potty tonite and pressed the easy button
after he used it.

Cutie in the bathtub...

Oliver had a great Sunday with Mommy. We hung around the house all day- reading our new books, playing Legos, exercising with Jillian, walking to the water tower, cuddling, watching Bob the Builder and also going down the street to get the car washed. Oliver had a great evening eating mac n' cheese with broccoli, taking a bath and giving Mommy the "indigo lobster" that is what he calls the purple fish that is in his hands.
He spent the rest of the evening cuddling with Daddy and going ni-ni. It was a great Sunday.

Busy Saturday

Relaxing Oliver....

Laying on the floor after his nap, eating his dinner.

Testing the green water

He got really good with the egg dipper

He was like a little machine- once he learned how to color them!

Oliver had a great day. He helped Daddy in the morning at Grandma's house. They did a bunch of odd jobs to help Grandma around the outside of her house. Oliver had fun playing and then seeing Grandma for a little bit. Mommy picked him up and they went to the Coffee Shop to meet with a friend to plan for Aunt Jessica's Bridal Shower! Oliver had fun playing on the couch, drinking sparkling orange juice, seeing Grammie, and doing a face plant on the floor when his chair fell over. (Mommy warned him....it still happened...he had a nice bloody nose, but he is one tough patooty!)

We came home and he took an awesome nap, then he ate dinner- he said Mommy makes GOOD food- it was actually from Chick- Fil-A....but that was a really sweet compliment. We made green eggs, decorated some of them, baked some pumpkin bars and healthy banana bread, took a bath, brushed our teeth, did stickers, and now are watching Bob again. He is wearing his new Thomas the Train jammies. He is so cute! We are doing a great job with his night routine! Fun!

The Escaping Cat

Playing with Grandma's kitchen set

Rudy and Oliver love each other!

Three marshmallows in the fire

Oliver had a great day with his Mommy! We got up and headed to the Y, but first stopped at Grandma's to feed the cats and bring the mail in. Rudy escaped his room and it took us awhile to find him and bring him back! (He was hiding in Grandma's closet!) Oliver loved watching Rudy be held by Mommy and then he pet Rudy for awhile! Afterwards we made our way to the Y where we both had fun. Leela was there and we played with the doll house for a few minutes together- they had the cutest little pieces to the house!

After the Y, we went to the DMV. An appointment Mommy had turned into a crazy two hour wait. (Mommy wishes that California would do plates and licenses like Washington- maybe thats why Mommy has taken so long to change her plates and license! Plus Mommy likes having a black bear on her plates!) Oliver was as good as a 2 1/2 year old could be and Mommy will have to return next week on her own. Yucks!

We came home to rest, play Legos, eat dinner, take a bath, and have s'mores by the campfire. Oliver finally went to sleep on his sleeping bag. We had a great day!

were planting

Daddy and Oliver getting started

Oliver had a wonderful spring day! He played with Daddy in the morning and then went to Joan's house. He played with his good friends and then Mommy picked him up. We had a great drive home! When we got home, we helped Daddy start our vegetable garden. Daddy moved our garden bed closer to our back deck. It receives a more even amount of sunlight and will be more accessible to the kitchen- yummy! We planted lots of onion bulbs! While Mommy and Daddy were planting, Oliver went to the campground and picked an orange. Yummy. He is becoming very, very independent on our property. (It may be time to get a fence for the pool!)

After we planted, we played, said goodbye to Daddy who went to work in the mountains, took a bath, brushed teeth, did sticker charts, and now are watching Bob the Builder to rest. We head a great spring day. We can feel it in the air!!!
