Kisses

Kisses for Mommy
Little shorts- she is cuddled up next to her Mama
Love her shirt

Oliver and Mommy had a wonderful day together. We were banana slugs in the morning and lounged around in our jammies drinking juice and tea. Then we headed to the Y to play and exercise. Afterwards we did a couple of errands and went over to Aunt Ali's house to visit. We had fun helping around the house and playing with a sweet baby.

Oliver was funny today- he wanted to give Mommy a kiss and he was puckering up his lips like a fish. Mommy kissed him- we tried to take a picture of his puckered up lips but we were laughing to hard to make it work.

In the evening, Mommy made Oliver take a bath. Of course he screamed and cried as Mommy carried him there and took off his clothes. Mommy has a lot of patience. He will get this bath thing soon. He has been resting for awhile now. Sweet dreams banana slug.

Oliver making funny faces at Uncle Kelly

Oliver and Mommy had a wonderful Sunday together. We played at the Y early and got to see our favorite friend there, Donna. (We actually have a ton of favorite friends there...) Then we met up with Grammie and went to Costco to get new tires for our Subaru. Oliver loves tires! He takes all the tires off his toy cars and puts them back on. He also loves pretending like his crocs are tires. So it was a real treat for him to go and get tires with Mommy. He checked them out afterwards and was very pleased. (Mommy is too.)

We stopped by to visit with Aunt Ali, baby Rachel, Uncle Kelly and Uncle Matthew. Oliver loves visiting with family. We had a nice relaxing evening together. He is sleeping soundly now. Sweet dreams little man.

Milestones

Today all three kiddos hit some sweet milestones. It is fun being able to slow down and watch these little love bugs.

Viana drank from a real cup instead of a sippy cup.
(Her eyes are so pretty.)

Korey has been sitting up on his own this week...
Oliver is learning to compliment. He told Mommy that
she makes "good food."

Oliver put on a "real" outfit for his time with his Daddy.
(Instead of PJs...and he insisted on standing on his bed to take the picture.)

Oliver is now spending time with his Daddy, they went to a celebration. Happy Birthday Uncle Joey.

"Meredith"

Oliver teaching Viana about birds
Cutie Patooties
Meow...a cat at Grammie's house

Oliver has been doing something very cute the last few days. He has been calling me "Meredith" not Mommy. Riley calls me Meredith and so when he was over on Monday Oliver decided to start calling me "Meredith" too.

We had fun today with Korey and Viana (she finally came back from her vacation). We have been spending a nice evening at Grammie's house.

Mommy thinks she will make an escape there next week.

This morning Oliver and Mommy had fun at the Y playing and exercising. After we swung by Phoenix and picked up Oliver's chocolate cake (Connor) and we went for a little trip to Ikea to get some essentials for Mommy. We had fun eating lunch together, giggling, and playing in all the little rooms.

In the afternoon Oliver helped Mommy at an important appointment then we stopped by our favorite store- World Market. Oliver always gets a special drink there to sip while Mommy dreams up little ideas.

Oliver is spending the evening with his Daddy now.

Almost There

Boys cuddling in the morning
The view of the mountains was nice today.
It makes Mommy want to drive up to the mountains and
go for a little hike or walk around Julian.
Pretty Purple Flowers Again

Oliver, Mommy, and Korey went for another walk today. It was pretty hot out and Korey is getting pretty heavy for Mommy to wear him--so Oliver and Mommy kept reminding each other that we were almost there...It was a beautiful walk though.

Oliver is going to spend a nice evening with his Daddy.

Anticipation

Putting together the puzzle

Korey hanging out and playing...

This morning Oliver was anticipating the arrival of Korey- because he was bringing his big brother Riley. The boys had a lot of fun playing together. Mommy had to put out a lot of small fires but overall we had a pretty good day.

We had fun playing outside in the afternoon the boys were busy spraying everything with their squirt bottles and Mommy was hula hooping for Korey (you are never too old for anything...). We had a nice rest of the afternoon playing and learning to share.

Oliver is going to spend a nice evening with his Daddy.

Oliver's Show

Korey and Mommy watching the Jeep show
(The Jeep is on the other end of the couch.)
Oliver having fun
Holding up his red Jeep- the tires are on the table. Funny.

Oliver has been taking a lot of things apart lately. Today he wanted Mommy to watch his Jeep show. He showed Korey and Mommy the Jeep show on the green couch and then later he wanted Mommy to see how he was working on his red Jeep. He was very proud of himself- he could take all the tires off and put them back on. Mommy enjoyed watching him work.

Oliver is now spending the evening with his Daddy.

Making Someone Smile

Rachel and Oliver this morning

Aunts and a Sweet Baby

Mommy loves to smile and laugh. Last night she got the best present ever. She stopped by to visit her sister and her new niece. Mommy was playing with Rachel- poking her little nose and squeezing her little cheeks. Rachel smiled her first "real" smile ever! Mommy and Aunt Ali were so so excited. Mommy was able to make Rachel smile one more time that night! Every time Mommy thinks about it, she smiles.

Oliver and Mommy stopped by again this morning to see if we could make her smile again. She almost did... We had a nice day together after our visit. Now Oliver is spending a nice evening with his Daddy.

Pretty Purple Flowers

Mommy is wearing Korey...he is such a love bug.
Oliver checking out the tires of the wagon, his hands and
face were all black when we got home.

Pretty Purple Flowers

Oliver, Mommy, and Korey went on a nice walk today. Mommy went up all the steep hills pretty quick, considering that she was wearing a 20 pound baby and pulling a toddler in a wagon. We stopped to look at a tree with pretty purple flowers. (Mommy's favorite colors are purple and turquoise!) Purple flowers always catch her eye and Oliver's too!

Chocolate Cake

Oliver and Mommy had a lot of fun at the Y this morning, after we headed over to Phoenix to visit for a bit. Last year Mommy and her teaching partner, Amanda used a phrase in the classroom (Amanda's great idea!) that the scholars loved! We told them to of course make good choices and try not to sit next to your chocolate cake when they met in our common area. Their chocolate cake was someone who was their close friend who they couldn't resist talking to or touching (that happens a lot with 1st and 2nd graders.) Sometimes the kids would tell Mommy and Amanda that they shouldn't sit next together because they were chocolate cakes....
So, today we visited Mommy's chocolate cake and Oliver got to see his chocolate cake, Connor! We met both of them last year, we are so lucky. It was a lot of fun. Mommy and Oliver love making new chocolate cakes!

Stuck

Stuck for a couple minutes...

"Kelly Girl"- Ali and I have started calling
Rachel that because she looks a lot like her Daddy.

Oliver somehow got himself under the table today and got stuck. He was there for a couple of minutes while Mommy was tending to Korey. He was relieved when she let him out. It is funny that he got in there but couldn't get out. Not the first time this has happened!

We had fun with Rachel and Aunt Ali at our house today. We danced to some good songs and fed the babies.

Oliver is with Daddy now. Mommy will add pictures from today, later.

Simple Pleasures

Lining up his trucks
Korey watching the pinwheel-Mommy's Hoop
A Simple Pleasure

Oliver, Mommy, and Korey played outside this morning. We all had something different we were doing, and we were all content. Korey liked watching the pinwheel, Oliver was racing his monster trucks on the trail, and Mommy was hula hooping (Korey liked watching that too!).

Oliver spent a nice evening at home with Daddy.
