Happy Birthday Aunt Allison

Wearing his beanie (it was misty) and eating cheese
Daddy and Oliver walking to brunch

Balloon Head

Daddy loves to play with Oliver

We think the waiter actually made Oliver a
Mimosa instead of just OJ, he was dancing
outside to the Mexican Music!
Today was Aunt Allison's 31st birthday! Happy, Happy Day! Oliver and Mama went to the Y in the morning, Oliver loved going early and having all the toys mostly to himself! Then we met Grammie, Grandpa, Daddy, Uncle Matthew, Aunt Jess, and Aunt Ali for brunch at El Torrito. Oliver had a great time and ate 2 dishes of Jello, yummo!
Afterwards we stopped by Grandma and Bhuta's then went to his Grammie and Grandpa's! He had a full morning of family! Grandpa took Oliver up to the school on his bike and he played on the fire engine. Grandpa was very patient on the way back, because every 15 feet Oliver wanted to get off his bike and explore! Sounds very familiar!
We came home and he had a nice nap. When he woke up, he helped Mama at her classroom for a few minutes and then we went to Aunt Jessica's for dinner and to play. He had fun playing with his Aunt and she even gave him a skateboard- without the wheels- so he can start practicing. (I bet his Uncle Joey would love to teach him a few tricks too!)
Oliver had a great day.

Oliver had a fantastic day. He went to the Y Childwatch and played happily while Mama exercised. Then we visited with Grandma and Bhuta for awhile, Oliver showed them what was in his owl bag. Afterwards we made our ways towards home, Oliver went for a jeep ride with Daddy to his storage unit for work, Oliver loves to ride in jeeps! In the evening we all went to Home Depot to pick out some house plants and then we went to Dairy Queen for a family ice cream night. We had a nice day.

Big Boy Bed

Oliver sleeping in his big boy bed-
His room is not done yet, as soon as his
dresser is put together, we can make
his room into the campground!
Oliver went to Stephanie's today and had fun. We played at home and then went for a quick dinner to La Salsa with Daddy. Oliver ate a quesadilla and chips. He loves La Salsa. Then we came home, while Mama slept on the floor in his room he ran around the house playing (Mama is exhausted from end of year stuff at school, 1st graders...). He finally settled down and went to sleep. He loves his big boy bed, and he is going to love his room even more when all of his furniture can be set in the correct spots! (He and Mama love to organize!)

Playing horsey

Oliver had a good day today, he woke up in a cuddly, laughing mood. He went to Stephanie's, when Mama said goodbye- he said, "go mama." (When I first brought him there it was really hard for both of us to leave each other, wow he has come a long, long way!)

After I picked him up we went home, played, ate dinner, hung out with Daddy for a sec, and then went to visit Bhuta and Grandma. Oliver had fun visiting and bringing his car over. He played with Grandma a lot, and talked to Bhuta. Grandma even gave Oliver a quarter to put in his owl wallet so he has change for the vending machine at the Y. Oliver was stoked!

He fell asleep on the drive home listening to Pearl Jam instead of our usual Nora Jones! When I tried to put in comforting Nora he said, No, I like this music- we were listening to it on the way to Grandmas. We had a nice day.

Busy Wednesday

In his mismatched crocs with new truck from
Grammie on the floor

He insisted on getting this cart at Henry's
he actually stayed in it the whole time,
guess he was too tired to push the little cart

I told him to close his eyes and pretend he was
going ni-ni, cutie pie
Today we had another busy day. We went to swim in the morning, Oliver loves seeing Ms. Megan. Then Oliver went to "work" while Mama exercised. He bought a snack at the vending machine after and ate it in the lobby of the Y, we had fun just going slow today. Then we stopped by Grammie's to get some things- Grammie gave him a special cheese truck for him to take home, since he always, always plays with hers. Then we went home and took a nice nap. (We need to work on those naps now when he is with Mama, he wants her to hold him the whole time....- Good thing summer break is coming up, we can really try out a new naptime routine!)
After his nap, Aunt Allison and her friend with kindergarten twins stopped by. Oliver loved having kiddos over at his "new house." Then we ate dinner after they left, he played with Daddy, Mama and Oliver went grocery shopping, and then we came home to his nightly routine. He is sleeping in his big boy bed peacefully.

Funny Oliver

Oliver's Boots (He actually didn't wear them
all day today!)

Oliver had a great day. We met Danielle and Eileen at the beach and went walking. Oliver loved riding in his old stroller while Danielle rode in his newer stroller (hers has a flat!). After we went to our favorite beach coffee shop and the kiddos played. Oliver met a police officer and gave him a high five and knuckles.
We went home and took a really nice nap and then played for awhile at home. Then we decided on a whim to head to the Y, Mama felt like exercising and Oliver felt like "working" that is what he calls going to childwatch. He loves going there! He had a great time and then we stopped by Grandma and Bhuta's to say hi. Oliver had fun playing with Aunt Katy and Scooter and giving a 2 minute blow kiss to Bhuta.
We came home and did our nightly routine and then Daddy appeared home from the mountains, we weren't sure if he was coming home so he surprised us! He is sleeping now getting ready for his swim lesson in the morning.

Cutie Lily

Today Oliver had a good day. We woke up and raced to the Y to go to a special Memorial Day Workout Event. We met Aunt Jessica there! Oliver ate a snack and played at the Childwatch center while Mama and Aunt Jess exercised! Then we played afterward and Aunt Jess helped him at the Vending machine. After we said bye to Jess we went to Grammie's to say hello, ate lunch, and then took a long-long nap.

After Oliver's nap we went to meet Aunt Katy and Uncle Scooter at his parents house. Oliver got to play with Emmerson who will be the flower girl at their wedding. They enjoyed playing with one another and were really learning to share! Oliver had fun playing with all the toys! He enjoyed eating sherbet at a mini picnic table with Emmerson and eating all of his dessert up! He also liked meeting little Lily who is 16 months old.

Oliver had a great day.

Fixing his Car

Fixing his Car
Playing in the garden bed, Daddy filled it
with soil and planted some of our starter
fruits and veggies

The skate park at the Y, when we leave, Mama
drives by so Oliver can watch the skaters,
he wants to skateboard too!

Picking up dirt and putting it on his tires!

Driving his car!

Eating corn and smiling for the camera!

This is the closest Ranger gets to being an inside dog
in our new house!

Oliver has been working a lot lately! This morning after eating some yummy pancakes, Oliver fixed his car. He turns it on its side and works on the tires. Its pretty cute! We did a lot today! Oliver and Mama went to the Y for a little to play. Then we visited Grammie for a bit, ate lunch, took a nice long nap, and then put away Oliver's "old" baby stuff- that has been packed away for 8 months. We were both excited to look at his stuff, and excited to use some of the stuff that we can still use!
After hanging around the house we went on a mission for a park. We found the closest one to be Felicita Park. Oliver had fun playing on the equipment, hiking on the trail, looking at a wedding at the Park (he talked about how Aunt Kalyn and Uncle Joey got married- what a good memory!) Then we came home and hung out, ate a good dinner, took a nice bath, and went to bed. Nice Sunday!

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy

Oliver and Daddy leaving in the the truck. Oliver and the dirt!

Look at Oliver!
Wow Oliver is brave!

Pony and Oliver

Horses and Oliver

Oliver sure loves his Daddy! After going on a run with Mama and Ranger this morning- Oliver and Daddy drove to Poway to get soil or as Oliver calls it, "DIRT!" They had fun driving Bhuta's old F-150 rumbling truck. They saw horses and met a rancher.

After a nice nap, Oliver woke up to find his Grandma and Bhuta hanging out in his frontyard. He was excited to see them, but still tired. Grandma got to peek at him sleeping in his big boy bed. Then Daddy took Oliver to a big nursery in Escondido and they got a really good deal on some young oak trees. Daddy said Oliver loved walking through the aisles of trees!

When they came home, Oliver helped Mama clean up the house and then his Aunt Allison and Aunt Jessica stopped by for a few minutes. He had fun showing them his big boy bed and room and playing with his toys. Then Oliver helped Mama run some errands and he ate a great dinner. Then Mama tried to put him to bed, but he wanted Daddy! So Daddy is laying in Oliver's room now and the two boys are fast asleep!

Fridays are Nice

Oliver posing for the camera in our study.

Today Oliver felt much better so he went to Stephanie's while Mama and Daddy worked. He had fun playing, eating, sleeping, and cuddling with his friends. Afterwards we met Daddy for dinner at Hernadez's Hideaway by Lake Hodges. We ate some okay food, but the atmosphere is great! Afterwards we went for a mini-hike and then followed Daddy's work jeep home. Oliver kept saying Daddy too fast, Daddy slow down and he liked when Mama and Daddy were honking their horns at each other! We came home to rest after a long week.

Oliver and Daddy are in Oliver's big boy room getting ready for sleepy time!

Recovery and Dancing

Standing in line for the "Disco" theme dance,

he liked the man's "hat"

Dancing with his glow necklace, its raised above his

cute little head

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Today Oliver went to Grammie's while Mama went to work. Oliver hung out with Grammie while she worked from home, they cuddled, played, talked, went on a lunch date, and met Mama in San Marcos after Mama's school got out. Oliver fell asleep on the way to meet Mama! He was so cute, he told Mama all about his day with Grammie. He said, "We hung out!" He is feeling much better...but Mama wanted to make sure he had some one on one time since he was in recovery. That is what Grandma's are for!

In the evening we saw Daddy for (he came back from working in the desert- his jeep muddy, his clothes dirty, his body sore--but happy to be working "in the wild.") and then went to a Spring Dance at Mama's school. We had fun. We wore glow necklaces and bracelets and Oliver danced. He liked seeing the lights turn off and everyone glowing and the bubbles blowing through the air. He danced a bit (really) and had fun. Then we went home and he took a nice bath, and is now laying with Daddy going ni-ni.

Cuddle Bug

Mama doing pilates, Oliver was helping her, then
he fell asleep on the mat! He used to help me do pilates
when he was 1st born, he is so cute!

He is really into picking out his own clothes, and he
likes wearing 2 different shoes!
Today Mama stayed home from work to help Oliver get better. Oliver was very hot all night, Mama and Daddy took turns staying in his room, giving him cool moo milk and talking to him. He really liked just cuddling with both of us. In the morning he was the same- so Mama took him to the doctors. We got to meet Dr. Jolly. He was very nice and Oliver was very good for him- except when he wanted to look at Oliver's ears. Oliver's ears are fine, he said just a little fluid build up, and he had a 101.2 temp. Poor baby. No meds were prescribed, so he just needs to rest- and he drank a lot of fluids.

Later after a couple of cat naps, he was feeling a bit better. Mama took him on a little walk at the Lake. He was happy to sit and watch things and get some fresh air. Later in the evening we went with Daddy to the bookstore for awhile. Oliver was happy to have Mama and Daddy to read with and play with on the little stage in the kids section. After we came home and he took a nice bath and went to sleep. Daddy is in the desert tonite for work, we miss him.
