"Mommy almost got a ticket."

Oliver had a wonderful day. We started the morning by sitting on the potty for about 30 minutes! Oliver has been testing his potty and is trying to make his tummy feel better (we were successful in the evening!) Afterwards we headed towards the Y for some fun time! But on the way a police officer decided to stop Mommy in Rancho Santa Fe. He was sneaky, hiding his car behind a tree, and then stepping out in the road to pull Mommy over. Kind of scared us! Mommy was going 9 miles over the speed limit (big deal, right?), but the Officer just gave us a warning, but Mommy does need to go to the DMV and get a CA license and license plates (dang- been putting it off for over a year now!) Mommy thinks the officer went easy on us because of Oliver and the koala hooked to our rearview mirror! Oliver told Daddy later what happened- he explained everything and said, "Mommy almost got a ticket!"

So we had fun at the Y-saw Amanda for a bit, played in the lobby and looked in on the swimmers in the pool. Then Oliver helped Mommy get her hair done. We came home and took a relaxing nap, ate dinner, and then went to FroYo with Daddy. (We really like that place!) It was a great Friday.
