Today we had a nice HOT day! Oliver, Mama, and Ranger braved the heat early in the morning and took a nice 5 mile run. (Well maybe nice for Oliver- who got to sit in the shade and eat his breakfast and look at scenery the whole time!) It was good for Mama and Ranger in a different way!

In the afternoon we met up with our new playgroup and went swimming at a community pool in Village Park. It was a lot of fun, Oliver's confidence soared in the kiddie wading pool and there was even an area in the shade just for Oliver's fair skin! We had fun seeing Eileen and Danielle too!

After we went home and traveled "into the city" for a Friday night dinner at a little hidden mexican restaurant. The food was yummy and Oliver enjoyed being with his Mama and Daddy. We came home and took a wonderful bath then went to sleep in his very big boy bed!
