Fishing with Daddy

Happy and Ready for his fishing trip
Smiling for the camera

Look how pretty it was, can you spot a smiling
toddler?

Can you see the coyote? Oliver defenitly inherited
his Daddy's gift for spotting wildlife!

Oliver's first fish

Sleeping after a satisfying day of fishing

Oliver had a wonderful day. He went to the Y in the morning with Mama and played with toys and friends, then he had a mini-cupcake at the Elizabethan Bakery. He got a make-up cupcake because the other day his finger was sore and hurt when we went there and Mama had to throw out his little cupcake.... He ate this one with gusto and lots of comments!

When we got home we helped Daddy with things inside. Then the boys went fishing while Mama had a little party. The boys went to Lake Wohlford in Escondido. Oliver sat in his chair next to his Daddy, he spotted a coyote across the lake before Daddy did. He told Daddy about the dog he saw, and Daddy told him that was a coyote. Then Oliver informed Daddy that a Coyote is like a dog. (Something Mama taught Oliver more than a month ago!)
Oliver caught the first fish, they let it go, but he told Mama that, "Oliver got the first fish!" He had a lot of fun and was still on a Daddy fishing high when he got home, it took him awhile to settle down and get out of his dirty clothes and fall asleep. What a cute fisherman! (The other fisherman was asleep by 8:30!)
