Oliver cooking up some food for Grandma
***All these great pics were taken by the nights photographer,
Grandma!!! Thanks Grandma!***
Daddy was sad he missed the party. He had to go
out and look for Arroyo toads in Pine Valley. He didn't see any
tonite- but this is one he saw the other night!
We had a great day! We played around the house all morning- cleaning, eating breakfast, listening to the rain, and Oliver took a really long bath! Afterwards we did a few errands. We stopped by the Hawthorne Country store to get dog food. We got to see baby chicks, baby turkeys, a baby lamb, baby bunnies, and baby goats. (Hmmm....babies are following Mommy everywhere......) Oliver got to take home a small toy chicken. Afterwards, we did our grocery shopping and then came home.
Oliver took a nice rest on the couch and then we headed over to Grammie and Grandpa's house for Grandpa's 60th birthday celebration. We had a fantastic time- all of Oliver's aunts and uncles were there, Grandpa's sailing friends and all the in-laws, including Grandma. It was really fun. Oliver fell asleep before we left and he is probably dreaming of candles, cuddles, and the Happy Birthday song.
(Oliver picked out his outfit this morning. He said he wanted the tuk-tuk shirt- which is what Grandpa gave him from Thailand. Grandpa is flying on a plane to India tomorrow- his real 60th birthday!)
It was a great Saturday.
