Mommy spotted the snake- Daddy stopped the
Jeep and brought it back to the car! Fun!

Mommy had a great Mother's Day! We slept in and then Oliver woke up Mommy with a kiss. We ate yummy homemade pancakes and chicken eggs and then Daddy and Oliver surprised Mommy with a trip to Palomar Mountain! We drove the special Jeep up Nate Harrison Grade and had a wonderful time looking at all the beautiful wildflowers. We drove through the campground then parked at Doane Pond. We headed towards the Weir trail and had a great time hiking. Daddy set up a wonderful picnic with cheese, crackers, and wine (and more snacks for Oliver). It was wonderful. We had a great hike back, Oliver got up from the relaxing picnic and said, "Let's hike!" as he grabbed his hiking stick and made his way back to the trail. He is an awesome hiker! We had a nice time after walking around Doane Pond and then driving home.

We had a great evening at home and Oliver even walked/rode his bike to the water tower with Mommy. It was a really nice Mother's Day. Mommy won't ever forget it!
