Oliver had a great Friday with Mommy. We spent the morning at home cleaning, playing, and waiting for the furnace man to come and fix our furnace! Then we headed to the Y, Oliver had a great time playing with friends and legos, then hanging out in the lobby for a few minutes. Then off to the Junior Carlsbad Race Expo to get his bib and t-shirt. We had fun parking and walking to the event- we practiced what the race will be like and raced each other on the sidewalk. Oliver had a great time watching the flamenco dancers, eating a tiny sample of ice cream and getting his free Padres sun hat! (He was one of the first 500 kids to sign up so he got a hat. Mommy and Daddy are running on Sunday and they will get a Padres prize too! We signed up for the race last August- we are so excited!)
We came home and ate dinner, took a bath, and then went to FroYo with Daddy. Oliver is sound asleep now. He is getting the rest he needs to perform well tomorrow in the big race!
