House on Romeria Street

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve. Oliver and Mommy started the morning at the Y, playing with Aunt Jessica and seeing the many regulars in the lobby! After the Y we ran a couple errands and visited with Grammie and Grandpa for a few minutes. Oliver got to see Uncle Matthew and play for a few. After we came home to play and take a nap.

Grandma came over around 4:00 to celebrate Christmas Eve, Oliver woke up soon after and was excited to see his Grandma. A few minutes later Aunt Katy and Uncle Scooter came over. We all had a great time making Gingerbread Houses (barns, outhouses, sheds, trucks...) It is not as easy at is seems! We had so much fun- laughing and watching Oliver eat all the goods and pour all the sprinkles. It was a blast! Oliver also let Mommy, Aunt Katy, and Grandma know that it was Christmas- he came into the kitchen and said, "Merry Christmas!!!" with a lot of gusto and pure happiness.

After Oliver and Mommy drove over to Grammie and Grandpa's to bring them some treats for tonite and for when they wake up on Christmas morning. Grammie and Grandpa were excited to see Oliver and when we left he blew a kiss to Great Grandpa Dean who was sleeping. Oliver can't wait for tomorrow morning to visit with family and see what Santa brought him!
