Oliver woke up early this morning, and while Mama tried to keep sleeping he played quietly in his room. He is so considerate! Oliver learned today how much his Mama likes to sing and dance around the house to music. We hooked up our tv and dvd player and for the first time in a long time have music to listen to around the house! Oliver loved dancing with Mama and listening to Mama sing all her favorite country songs!

After being silly, we did a couple of errands and then came home- Oliver took a nice nap and woke up ready to go to the fair with Danielle and Eileen. We left a little later from their house and had a good time looking at animals, watching a truck show, seeing a short pig race, eating, and more. When we were visiting the turkeys the babes got a bit too close and a turkey pecked Danielle on her nose. She cried for a second, but was better pretty fast. Oliver patted her on the back and showed his concern. They learned not to get to close! It was a lot of fun, Mama still has one more free admit ticket and some ride tickets left....Maybe one more time....

This morning Oliver was up at 6:20 ready for Mama to make him a smoothie. We got ready and went to the Y early. Oliver played while Mama exercised and then we went to swim class! We are in the next level of swim so we got to try some new things. Oliver is still getting adjusted to being back in the pool! After we went home and took a nice nap.

Daddy came home right after Oliver's nap from working in the mountians, first we did a pilates video and then and we left him to have the house to himself so he could write a report. First, we went to the country store to get food for our baby chicks, they had a whole enclosure of chicks and so much other fun stuff there! We are defenitly going back! Then we traveled to the Wild Animal Park! Mama hasn't been in years, so much has changed. It was Oliver's first time- we got annual passes so we will be back- hmmm maybe next week!!!! We had so much fun! We saw elephants, bald eagles, a burrowing owl, a tiger, a bubble show and more! Oliver enjoyed looking at the animals and telling Mama all about what he was seeing!

Oliver had another day full of fun and friends! Oliver slept in, due to his party animal ways the night before. When he awoke, we got dressed and hopped in the car. We met Mama's old teacher friends from San Diego at a park. Oliver played with Isabella and got to check out baby Celeste! He had fun climbing and scaring everyone on the big toy structure! Afterwards we went to Grammie's to get ready for his friend's 1st birthday party.

We met at Danielle's house and walked with her and her parents to Rocco's house! Rocco was having a big birthday bash! He is a cutie patooty. He didn't want to stop eating his smash cake, he fussed a bit when his Mama took him away from it! It was a nice party and Oliver really enjoyed the bucket of Red Vines he discovered, he even brought one to Danielle! What a nice friend!

In the evening we just hung around the house- took a bath, cleaned up toys, and were just happy to be relaxing after a long, fun weekend!

Wow, Saturday. Mama told Oliver weekends are fun, but today was so much fun it felt like 3 weekends rolled into one day! We started the day by going to the Y, Oliver had fun while Mama exercised. Then we made our way up to Newport Beach for a good friend's (from Humboldt, Mama hasn't seen her for 3 years!) baby shower. It was wonderful, and Oliver was very well behaved at a very nice house! We had fun, we came home in the early evening.

When we got home, Uncle Joey and Aunt Kalyn were coming over for a few minutes to visit after a graduation party for Aunt Kalyn's sister! (Happy Graduation Chelsea!) Oliver had fun playing with Uncle Joey- Uncle Joey was making Oliver laugh pretty hard! We also had fun showing Joey and Kalyn our chickens, Aunt Kalyn loves baby chickens.

Afterwards, it was pretty late, but Mama and Oliver had one more party to attend. Daddy was too sick to make the trip with us (he is still feverish, and his throat is really sore), but we went to a party to celebrate Aunt Katy and Uncle Scooter getting married. Oliver had fun jumping in the bouncy house, eating stir fry (he loved the broccoli!), drinking juice, giving roses to Emme and Katy, eating ice cream, and then falling asleep in Mama's arms admist a lot of commotion-like a sweet baby!

Oliver was a total party animal today- baby shower- Uncle Joey and Aunt Kalyn- Aunt Katy and Uncle Scooter--- he is so, so cute!

Today Oliver went to Grammie's for a couple of hours in the morning, because Mama had another interview (keeping our fingers crossed!). He had a nice time playing with his toys and helping Grammie work. Afterwards we went to the Y and played. Oliver watched a big truck unload stuff out in front of the Y, he is so curious!

After we came home and he took a nice nap. Then we ran a few errands, went to Costco to pre-order his birthday cake. Outside he saw a motorcyle and said, "I wish I could go vroom, vroom!" He is so cute!

In the evening Aunt Katy and Uncle Scooter came by to visit and see our house! Oliver loved showing off his toys and his room. He even took a bath and showed Aunt Katy how he sits in the tub now. After they left, Oliver and Mama went to the drugstore to get Daddy Theraflu, he is feeling really sick, then we came home and he went ni-ni.

We had a nice day. Oliver and Mama hung around the house in the morning and then went to the Y. We had fun there! Afterwards, Oliver talked to Daddy on the phone for awhile. He listens to the speaker, but Mama has to prompt him to speak. It is pretty cute, but we are a little weary of him using a cell phone. (Maybe its time to get a landline!)

After the Y we met Aunt Allison and Aunt Jess for a little bit. Oliver showed off his cowboy hat and gave a few hugs and kisses. Then we made our way home, Oliver took a really long great nap! He woke up in a really good mood. We had fun playing around the house, eating breakfast for dinner, and then we went to the bookstore to play and read. Oliver told Mama all about the pictures in a horse book. He could tell Mama what the horses were doing in each picture! Wow! He is sleeping well now!

Today was a great day. Mama had to go to an interview and was lucky enough to have a friend watch Oliver for the morning. It was Oliver's 1st time staying at a friends house while Mama was gone (except when he was 6 weeks old in Washington, but he didn't realize how special being with 3 redheaded girls was yet!). He didn't cry, he was happy to be with Eileen and Danielle. He had a lot of fun! When Mama got there we all went for a walk, and the kiddos fell asleep. They wore each other out!

We went home and played for a bit, then decided to go to the beach. It was so nice out and we watched a sesame street video yesterday on the ocean, so we decided to go! Danielle and Eileen met us there, and they played in the water and the sand. It was a first for Oliver and Danielle to play in the water. Oliver loved it, but got a little scared when the sand started to bury his feet when the tide receeded. (Sometimes Mama thinks he thinks too much!) We had a great time!

After we went to Knockout Burger on the 101 and had some burgers, they have perfect mini burgers for the kiddos, they loved it, and were playful! It was a fun day.
