this is Danielle's first race!!!

Today Oliver and I stayed home from daycare/work. Mama got it okayed by her principal to take a personal family day, and we stayed home to do special things to get ready for Uncle Joey's wedding! Oliver helped Mama a lot in the backyard and in the frontyard. We had a lot of fun working togther. We both got wet and dirty, yay! Oliver practiced wearing his ball cap all day. He is getting used to it.

Later in the afternoon, we met Danielle and Eileen for about an hour to pick up the Carlsbad Jr. 5000 running stuff. Oliver won't be able to run with Danielle, but we had fun picking up stuff anyways. And he has another cute t-shirt to add to his running collection! And it was fun seeing the girls, we haven't seen them in about 2 weeks!

In the evening Oliver got to hang out with Grandma, Aunt Katy, and Scooter (Katy's boyfriend.) Oliver had fun giving hugs. He ate a yummo dinner, helped Mama and Daddy with more backyard stuff, and then fell asleep soon after.
