Pink Friday

Teacher's from Mama's school!

All the supporters, it was like that on both sides of
the bridge.

Oliver and his flag.

Happy Man!

This pic is at home, he is saying hi to toots,
but it shows his shirt better- "No Future Cuts"
Because Oliver is our future!

Today Oliver woke up in a laughing mood. He helped Mama get ready and then he went to Stephanie's. He had fun, I don't think he napped well, but he came to a rally with Mama to make people aware of the budget cuts to schools and education that are taking place. He wore a special t-shirt that a couple teacher's at Mama's school helped design and he waved the pink flag. (Pink represents all the pink slips that school districts are handing out.) We stood on the Twin Oaks over pass. Oliver knew something excited was happening, because of all the support from people honking their horns and saying hurray! He proudly waved his flags and also watched the big trucks pass below on the 78! He is such a good helper!
When we got home he ate a yummo dinner and played a lot with daddy and Uncle Joey who had a special sweatshirt that made him look like a character from Star Wars. (Oliver is so lucky he can learn all about Star Wars from his Uncle some day!) He is sleeping well now in his monkey pajamas.
P.S. If you would like to take action and do something positive for schools, I have attached a link that has letters you can modify and send to local lawmakers! Oliver and I will be working on ours this weekend!
Look under resources there are letters to local San Marcos Reps and also to California's Governor.
