HOT DAY

Today was hot. It was in the eighties. Whoa! It felt good! Oliver spent most of the day in a diaper. I can already visualize what the summer will be like. When mommy came home, they went shopping to get some shorts for baby, a quick survey of his clothes revealed no 12 month size shorts- we got some cute duds and then came home. We went for a walk to the Skagit River Park, Oliver chilling in the Ergo carrier that Mommy wears. We saw his little friend Cameron (Jill's Son) playing soccer! What a beautiful weekend for a soccer tournaments and kettle corn.

The picture today is of Oliver putting his toy in the garbage. He has realized he can actually drop things in there. It is very amusing to him. A little gross but I'm glad he is learning and having fun.

Such a big boy! Summer is upon us. Oliver will have a great time with his Mom being home for the summer.

Speaking of kettle corn...I was in Kansas City this week and all the grocery stores had several brands of kettle corn you could buy. So of course I had to try at least one. For prepackaged, it was good.
At least I left what I did not eat in my rental car.

Love, Grammie
