Oliver had a great Saturday! We went running after lounging around the house. We stopped by Henrys to get a few things and there was a clown there. She painted Oliver a shark. He was super calm and interested! He even got a red balloon, looked pretty funny tied to the stroller on the way home with Mama running!

Oliver then showed Bhuta and Grandma his balloon and shark. They were impressed! Then Oliver played with Daddy. Then went on some errands with Mama, he is Mama's helper!

In the late afternoon he got to hang out with Grammie and Grandpa while Mama and Daddy went on a mini date. Oliver ate a big blueberry pancake and was happy playing with all of his toys. (I think he has the same amount of toys over there as he does at home!) He had a lot of fun, and Mama and Daddy were excited to see the deer while they were out!

Oliver is sleeping now, belly full with his yummo dinner!

Oliver had a great day! He hung out with his friends at Stephanie's. Afterwards he helped Mama at the teacher's store. He really liked some science displays they had set up, he played fishing with magnets and also helped the cashier.

We picked up Daddy afterwards and went to dinner in Restaurant Row. Oliver had fun making a wish at the well, eating mexican food, and seeing the fire pits at Mocha Marketplace. We had a good day and little man fell asleep on the way home.

Today Oliver went to see his friends at Stephanie's. He had fun with them! Stephanie's husband wasnt feeling good today, his back hurt. He wasn't able to sit in the car to drive to the doctors, so after all the little ones arrived Stephanie had to call for an ambulance to take her husband to the ER. So, the kids got to meet the firemen! Oliver and Charlie both got special lovies from the firemen. Oliver got a lion, it matches his hair! Charlie got a red teddy bear. He loves his lion! He even wiped the lions face on the way home with a wet wipe! When Mama took the lion away after he was asleep she discovered it actually roars!


In the evening he got to see his Bhuta and Grandma. He was very giving with his hugs, he kept running to Grandma and hugging her. He was also playing in the room with Bhuta showing off his moves! We went for a short run with Ranger and then came home to eat dinner. Oliver fed some soup to his toy fireman. Pretty cute! We all had a nice day.

Oliver woke up in a great mood! He ran with Mama and Ranger and held his baby monkey the whole time. Then we went to swim class, he said "Megan" the teacher's name, a few times. She was impressed! After swim we played at the splash pad that has water squirting from poles and the ground and then we played with his friend Danielle. After he got a snack from the vending machine and put it in his bag. Then he played at the Lego table for awhile.

As if that wasn't enough, we drove across the street and visited with Aunt Katy. We got to meet some of her patients (it is a care home for people with Alzheimer's). We visited with the ponies in the backyard, that was exciting, and Oliver had a major admirer, one of Katy's patients, Addy. Oliver also got to meet Vincent who calls Oliver, "the boss." Oliver got to have a chocolate from Aunt Katy's stash....It was nice seeing her.

After we went home and played and tried to nap, but Oliver had a really hard time napping today. He was totally fighting it! Later we went to the Stagecoach Park playground. He played for a long time, and was totally giggling and having fun on the swings. He also is really good at sliding now, he is able to do it on his own!

He is finally asleep and his Mama is super exhausted!

Oliver had a good day. He went running with Mama and helped her with some errands. We took a good nap, ate a yummy dinner, and now he is sleeping well. He talked a lot today, every day he adds more and more words to his vocabulary.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Oliver had a great day! He got to play with Daddy and eat birthday pancakes and eggs. He learned about the egg yolk this morning! We went to swim and then went to visit Daddy at his office to say Happy Birthday again! We met Jessica at her office and checked to make sure she was okay. She is okay, but Mama is really sore from the running yesterday!

We took a nice long nap and then Oliver played a lot again with Daddy when he got home from work. They took the trash out to the curb and I got to witness the cutest thing ever. Mike uses a Dollie to take out the yard waste and he doesn't bring it back empty. Oliver steps on it and lays back and Daddy brings him into the yard for a ride. Oliver stands very still and looks very serious! He is such a Daddys boy now (and still a Mama's boy!)

Still getting used to each other, two little babies...

Today was a big day. Mama left early to go run in the Carlsbad 1/2 Marathon, she ran fast and hard, she beat her time from last year and made a personal best in the 7 1/2's she has run so far! (1 hour 48 min 22 sec)! It helped to have Daddy and Oliver at the finish line (even though I couldn't see them, I knew they were there somewhere with Grammie and Uncle Chad.) We waited for Aunt Jessica to come in, this was her first race, yeah Aunt Jessica!

After we hung around for awhile we made our way home. Oliver eventually took a nice long nap, recovering from his late night out with Daddy at the Monster Truck Show. When we (I laid with him...) woke up Uncle Joey and Aunt Katy were over, and we had Leucadia Pizzeria for dinner to celebrate Mike's birthday (tomorrow)! It was nice seeing family and Aunt Katy's baby dog. It was a nice Sunday.

Oliver's Souvenir

Finally, they got to go to the Monster Truck Show!!! Daddy made sure to buy tickets early for the show in Anaheim. They left around 3:00, both Daddy and Oliver were very excited! They got there early and watched some little derby cars go around the tracks. Oliver was excited saying more, more, more! When the monster trucks came out, Daddy said he put the ear plugs in and Oliver fought them about 3 times, and then he was so fascinated by the trucks that he just let the ear plugs sit in his ears, good boy! Daddy's throat is sore from yelling so much, I bet Oliver's is too!

Oliver and Daddy ate pizza, nachos, and licorice! Yummo! Daddy said that when a man who was selling pizza walked by Daddy raised up his hand to show he wanted some pizza, then they ate. Later when a man selling cotton candy was coming by Oliver looked at the man and put up his hand, Daddy guesses Oliver wanted cotton candy! (He didn't get any though....) They had a lot of fun tonite, it is just the start of a Daddy and Oliver tradition!

Oliver had a good day. He went to Stephanie's and had fun with all of his friends. After we came home and Daddy met us on the driveway! Aunt Katy pulled in with Bodie at the same time! Oliver was excited! He loves Aunt Katy's baby dog (thats what we and he call Bodie!) He had a wonderful fish taco for dinner and played with the baby dog and everybody. He is sleeping well, getting ready for an exciting day tomorrow!

Today Oliver had a nice day. He went to play at Stephanie's, Sky was there so he was not the only boy today! They are best buds. When we got home, Oliver played with Daddy while Mama went for a run. Then Uncle Joey and Aunt Kalyn came over and Oliver played some more. Then we ate some of Kalyn's yummo chili and homemade cornbread. Oliver liked it a lot, he particularly liked the olives on top and the kidney beans. He is such an adventuresome eater! He said goodnite to his family and fell asleep very fast tonite.

Today was a nice day. Oliver woke up and played with Daddy while Mama and Ranger did a quick run. Then Oliver and Mama went to swim class, we had a lot of fun!!! After swim, Oliver went to play with his friends at Stephanie's for awhile. He also got to see his Aunt Jessica on the way there, Mama had to drop off soccer stuff to her! He showed off his new haircut! At Stephanie's he had a good time, he loves playing, but he also loves when Mama picks him up---he helps get our diaper bag together!
After Stephanie's we met Aunt Katy at the park by her apartment. Oliver played on the toys for awhile! He was having tons of fun! He loves going down the slides by himself! He got to meet Aunt Katy's puppy who is a sweet little thing. Then we went for a little walk and had dinner at a little burger joint with Katy and Sky. He is sleeping well now.

Oliver loves to play. It is becoming a ritual to wake up with Daddy every morning and play. It is nice because they let Mama sleep for a little longer. This morning I could hear Oliver helping Daddy with the trashcans and they were playing.... After breakfast we went for a run, and then came home to play more!
Oliver got to go to his Aunt Allison's in the afternoon for about 2 hours while Mama went to 2 meetings at work. Oliver loves his Aunt Allison, he waved Mama off, he was so excited to play!
When we got home, Oliver ate a little soup, and played a little with Daddy, then went to sleep. He was pretty worn out from all the play today!

Oliver is so cute! He had a really good day! He played with daddy, like the tattoo? Mama loves it! We went to swim and came home. Oliver played with Daddy for a while and watched Grandma and Bhuta get their hair cut! Then it was his turn, and he was amazing! He sat facing Mama and he was mesmerized. It was around his nap time and we thought he was going to fall asleep! Laurie his hairstylist has the magic touch! Mama got hers cut afterwards! It was a family haircut day! Now Oliver has a cute little haircut, and we saved that curly rat tail for his baby book!

He had a great evening, ate yummy dinner, played with Daddy, and helped Mama clean up the kitchen and do some laundry. He is sleeping now in his monkey pajamas!
