Making Someone Smile

Rachel and Oliver this morning

Aunts and a Sweet Baby

Mommy loves to smile and laugh. Last night she got the best present ever. She stopped by to visit her sister and her new niece. Mommy was playing with Rachel- poking her little nose and squeezing her little cheeks. Rachel smiled her first "real" smile ever! Mommy and Aunt Ali were so so excited. Mommy was able to make Rachel smile one more time that night! Every time Mommy thinks about it, she smiles.

Oliver and Mommy stopped by again this morning to see if we could make her smile again. She almost did... We had a nice day together after our visit. Now Oliver is spending a nice evening with his Daddy.

Pretty Purple Flowers

Mommy is wearing Korey...he is such a love bug.
Oliver checking out the tires of the wagon, his hands and
face were all black when we got home.

Pretty Purple Flowers

Oliver, Mommy, and Korey went on a nice walk today. Mommy went up all the steep hills pretty quick, considering that she was wearing a 20 pound baby and pulling a toddler in a wagon. We stopped to look at a tree with pretty purple flowers. (Mommy's favorite colors are purple and turquoise!) Purple flowers always catch her eye and Oliver's too!

Chocolate Cake

Oliver and Mommy had a lot of fun at the Y this morning, after we headed over to Phoenix to visit for a bit. Last year Mommy and her teaching partner, Amanda used a phrase in the classroom (Amanda's great idea!) that the scholars loved! We told them to of course make good choices and try not to sit next to your chocolate cake when they met in our common area. Their chocolate cake was someone who was their close friend who they couldn't resist talking to or touching (that happens a lot with 1st and 2nd graders.) Sometimes the kids would tell Mommy and Amanda that they shouldn't sit next together because they were chocolate cakes....
So, today we visited Mommy's chocolate cake and Oliver got to see his chocolate cake, Connor! We met both of them last year, we are so lucky. It was a lot of fun. Mommy and Oliver love making new chocolate cakes!

Stuck

Stuck for a couple minutes...

"Kelly Girl"- Ali and I have started calling
Rachel that because she looks a lot like her Daddy.

Oliver somehow got himself under the table today and got stuck. He was there for a couple of minutes while Mommy was tending to Korey. He was relieved when she let him out. It is funny that he got in there but couldn't get out. Not the first time this has happened!

We had fun with Rachel and Aunt Ali at our house today. We danced to some good songs and fed the babies.

Oliver is with Daddy now. Mommy will add pictures from today, later.

Simple Pleasures

Lining up his trucks
Korey watching the pinwheel-Mommy's Hoop
A Simple Pleasure

Oliver, Mommy, and Korey played outside this morning. We all had something different we were doing, and we were all content. Korey liked watching the pinwheel, Oliver was racing his monster trucks on the trail, and Mommy was hula hooping (Korey liked watching that too!).

Oliver spent a nice evening at home with Daddy.

"Wait for Me"

"Wait for me!"

Eating his corn on the cob at Chili's

Oliver is so funny. This morning he was hanging out with Mommy as she was doing a pilates video. All of a sudden Oliver said, "Wait for me!" He wanted to use Mommy's legs as a gate. It was pretty funny- but also hard for Mommy to hold some of the poses!

We had fun today playing with Aunt Ali, baby Rachel, Rusty, and Uncle Kelly. Then Oliver got to hang out with Grammie while Mommy went to another appointment. Afterwards, Oliver and Mommy went to dinner with Grammie. It was a nice day.

A Good Thing

Baby swings are wonderful. Oliver enjoyed his when he was a baby, baby Korey loves his when he visits Mommy, and baby Rachel loves her beautiful swing. The swing is a really good thing- at first the babies may fuss a bit, but eventually within a matter of just a few minutes they are soon resting and peaceful.

Baby Oliver- about 2 months old

Baby Korey- about 4 months old

Baby Rachel- about 5 weeks old

Wonderful swings are definitely a good thing.

Waiting

Playing with their trucks on the trail

Little Worker Bees "cleaning" the windows

Beautiful Sky

Boys playing monster trucks

Mommy and Oliver were waiting for something this morning....soon we heard the footsteps on the porch and of course it was Roger and Korey. But today they brought Riley too! (Mommy always likes a little challenge!) The boys had a lot of fun together and Mommy kept them busy with trucks, puzzles, books, yummies, and more. They had so much fun together that Mommy got to cuddle extra with Korey.

We had fun in the evening at Grammie's house and now Oliver is resting with Daddy.

A Full Day with Daddy

Pony pics from yesterday's Birthday party. Thanks Shelley!

Oliver spent an entire day with Daddy. They played at home and went to the Wild Animal Park. They loved spending time together.
