A Visit with Grandma

Hanging out on his horse tonite

Mommy told him to not smile- look how handsome he is! (And how many
monster trucks he has!)

Mommy asked him to smile for this picture! Isn't he adorable???

Oliver had a great day. He went to Joan's in the morning and played with his friends. He took a tumble and has a little ouchie on his forehead. Daddy and Ranger picked Oliver up and they went to Grandma's house to visit and have dinner. They ate yummy fish, rice and cookies. They played monster trucks and Mommy's sure Oliver got a lot of kisses from his Grandma.

Daddy and Oliver came home and Mommy was there waiting for them! Oliver came in and gave Mommy kisses, hugs and information about his day. Then he played a bit, got in his jammies, brushed his teeth, did his stickers and is now resting watching Bob the Builder again. We will be going ni-ni very soon.

Looking at the Caterpillar- it must have been on Daddy's
clothes....

Daddy found a baby bunny outside

adorable Oliver, adorable bunny

Oliver had a great day. He slept in, got dressed nicely for Daddy and then went to Joan's house in the work Jeep. He had fun playing with his friends and sharing his monster trucks (he brought four of them to Joan's house!) Mommy picked up Oliver and we had a nice drive home together. We came home and ate dinner, played, walked to our gate and back with Ranger, took a bath, did stickers, and than Daddy brought in a surprise! Its not everyday that you find a baby bunny! Cool, Mommy found a caterpillar in the house and Daddy found a bunny- what a neat evening! We are now resting watching Bob the Builder. We are going to go lay down and get cozy!

Hullabaloo Concert

We had a great Sunday! We woke up around 8, ate breakfast then headed to the Y for exercise and play. We had a great time, then met Grandma in Encinitas. We came back to the Y and met Grammie in the parking lot- we headed in to attend a Hullabaloo concert at the preschool. Oliver was so excited walking through the lobby that he was kissing all of our legs! We went in and played on the playground, bid on silent auction baskets, played with Danielle and Baby James, ate pizza, popcorn, cupcakes, and danced, danced, danced to the Hullabaloo music. Oliver loved it! He was totally into the concert and got right in there with the other kids!
(And we all won our baskets: Mommy a fitness one with a childwatch card, tennis balls for Ranger, running socks for Mommy, and more! Grammie won a birthday party at the Y for Oliver's 3rd birthday! Fun!!!, and Eileen's is a secret...if you want to know you have to e-mail me!)

We came home and Oliver took a nice rest, then built towers with his Legos, then called his Grandma. After we went to dinner at Hernandez Hideaway and the walked along the Lake. Daddy taught us about Greebes and how to skip stones. (One of the stones skipped seven times!) We came home took a bath, did stickers, and went to bed. Mommy thinks this was a perfect Sunday.

Mountain Adventure

Oliver out working, to the left of him is the arroyo toad.
(Oliver was working in his jeans and his boots!)

Oliver woke up this morning and called for Mommy. He screamed when she walked in, her sleepy hair scared him! (Mommy thinks it looked a little bit like snakes....) Mommy laid down on the sleeping bag and there was dirt all over it! She cuddled with Oliver and listened to him as he told her about his late night mountain adventure the night before.

Oliver and Daddy went to the El Capitan Reserve past Ramona. They were looking for arroyo toads and they found some! Oliver told Mommy that they hiked and that they saw a coyote and heard some frogs (he gave her the sound effects and all!) They got home past 11:00, so both were sleepy (Daddy fell asleep on the sleeping bag- thats why there was dirt!).

Daddy said he had to carry Oliver the whole way, it was dark so a little scary. They crossed a river, both on foot and in the car. They took measurements and pictures together and had a great time. Oliver was very proud of himself for being such a big boy- he really enjoys working with Daddy in the mountains and outside of our house!

Today we had a together day. Oliver had a big tantrum in the morning which made it difficult for us to get to Amanda's house for her 30th birthday (Happy Birthday), Oliver recovered and we had a day of cleaning his room, playing at the Y for a little bit, and visiting Grammie, Aunt Jess, and Aunt Ali. In the afternoon Oliver rested- we also went to the library to pick up a new fire truck movie- played with Daddy outside and then we went to FroYo. We had a nice day together.

Another Fun Friday

He was doing this on purpose for the camera

CHEESE

I spy Oliver's head and Grandma

Oliver is in front of the boy with the red shirt-
those boys kept following Mommy, Grandma, and Oliver everywhere
Mommy played little games with them to try and get them to go
elsewhere....fun!

That purple thing feels like a trampoline!!!

Swinging at least trying too...Mommy is behind the
little monkey!

Oliver had a fantastic fun Friday! He started the morning by waking up next to Mommy- she came to cover him up again at 6:00 am and fell asleep next to him. He likes to play in his room while Mommy sleeps on his sleeping bag. After we got up, ate some yummy breakfast and then got dressed for our day. Oliver did a lovely job of getting dressed this morning.

We went to the Y and then saw Eileen, Danielle, and baby James- they surprised Mommy in the locker room!!! Then we surprised Oliver at Childwatch! Afterwards we met Grammie and Grandma at the new Souplantation in Encinitas. It was a special opening and it was fun. Oliver was a bit bummed that they didn't have Jello, but he sure loved the beets!!! He had a great time!

Afterwards we went to Playwerx with Grandma. Oliver filled up four of his sticker charts and he got to go to Playwerx as his reward. We laughed and laughed and laughed. It was so much fun! Mommy and Grandma's legs are sore.....Grandma's are really sore, she feels like she isn't going to recover, but Mommy bets her abs will be sore too from laughing!!! It was great! We came home after and Oliver took a nice nap.

Oliver is now out with Daddy. They went to work in the Mountains. They won't be home until later. Mommy gave Daddy the baby carrier in case Oliver got tired of hiking. Mommy will blog about their adventure tomorrow!

Oliver had a good day. He played with Daddy in the morning, then went to Joan's house in the special Jeep. In the afternoon Mommy picked him up. We drove home, played, ate Grandma's meatballs together, took a bath, and now Oliver is watching UFC Fighting and waiting to watch a DVD about bees. They are playing under the tent....fun stuff.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy Oliver and Mommy

Coming in for a green kiss

Grandma and Oliver- Cutest Pic Ever!!!

Oliver being "shy" wearing his shamrock headband
The other babes at Joan's were wearing them too!

Oliver had a fantastic day. He played with Daddy in the morning and then went to Joan's house and celebrated St. Patrick's Day all day long! All the kiddos were wearing green. They also had the cutest headbands on when Mommy came in. Mommy had one too and Oliver smiled and Ryder loved it!!! Mommy and Oliver were feeling so Irish, joyful, and green that we decided to stop by Grandma's house and give her a St. Pat's Day kiss. We didn't get out of the car (Oliver would want to stay and play with his monster trucks....) we just visited for a few minutes and Grandma took some awesome pictures with her new camera!

We came home and did a lot of cleaning, saying goodbye to Daddy as he left for work at the El Capitan Preserve, eating dinner, bath, toothbrushing, sticker charts, and relaxing to Bob the Builder (Oliver's first time watching it!). We had a great day!

Tuesday with his Bud

Oliver and Daddy at Grandma's house

Oliver had a good day. He played with Daddy and went to Joan's house. Daddy picked him up, Mommy had a big Tuesday and she didn't get home till both boys were sleeping. They looked so cute all sprawled out on the sleeping bag. Mommy wishes she had her camera so she could take pictures of the evidence of the fun they had. Mommy could tell Oliver was wearing her slippers, he must have been trying to put batteries in Bhuta's firetruck, his toys were all over the playroom, and there was construction paper throughout the hallway. It was pretty cute!!!

They went to Grandmas and she made them spaghetti and meatballs (Mommy saw the evidence in the refridgerator- thanks for the yummies Grandma!) and they helped put together a kitchen set that Grandma got at Aunt Ali's work- just like Oliver's set at Grammies! Now he will be able to play kitchen at both Grandma's fun!!! They had a good day- and Mommy misses both of them. Can you tell?

Shamrock Cookies

Decorating his Shamrock Cookies

Yum-Yum

He is pretty good at decorating...

Eating the Shamrock

Oliver had a great day- he slept in a little bit and then went to Joan's in Daddy's special Jeep. Mommy picked him up in the afternoon (there was a new arrival at Joan's- her daughter had a baby on Saturday night- Arwen Joan- baby girl!!!) we didn't get to meet the newborn but are excited to when they are up and about.
We stopped in Elfin Forest at the Albertsons- it was fun shopping together. Then we made our way home through the beautiful green forest. We came home and ate dinner then made Shamrock cookies as Oliver sang his Shamrock song, took a bath, did the sticker charts, tried to go to sleep (but that dang time change is still throwing is off), Oliver is watching a Wild America movie by Marty Stouffer. Hopefully we both have sweet dreams soon.

Time Change

Looking at the fish at Home Depot

He wanted to wear his beanie and bring his owl bag into Sizzler

It is so green....these hills lead to Elfin Forest/Harmony Grove

Ranger- posing for the picture
(Ranger and I went to the water tower while
Oliver was sleeping.)

Lake Hodges (We think about the girl who was
murdered there a lot- can't believe such a vicious act
occurred right there.)

Picking out house plants with Grammie

Cutie Patooty

Oliver had a nice Sunday morning with his Mommy. We played in the house and did some exercises. He started the warm up with Mommy and did a good job lifting his knees and trying jumping jacks. We played outside for awhile and then walked up to the water tower. It was a beautiful day.
Grammie came over around noon and we went to Home Depot and to Sizzler for the yummy salad bar. (Oliver had the craziest fit ever about putting his clothes on- right in front of Grammie.) Mommy is not going to let him wear jammies out anymore- the tantrums are pretty tough and his throat probably hurts pretty bad, but Mommy is trying to be a little bit stricter. We'll see how it goes.
Oliver took an awesome nap, but didn't wake up until 6:25 (time change). He got up, put on his crocs and went outside to find his Daddy. He told Mommy what he would like for dinner before he walked out the door. He is becoming so independent! Oliver ate a good dinner, played with Daddy by the fire (they both collected wood for the fire), took a bath, then went ni-ni. It was a nice Sunday!
