Walk and Campfire

Lots of People at the Jr. Diabetes Walk
Stephanie and Todd

Oliver had probably just been tickled by Stephanie

Macie and her friends- Macie is in the middle!

Oliver wanted to play, not walk- so Mommy let him!

get that many pictures together
Oliver had a good day. He woke up smiling, ate some breakfast, and then went to the Jr. Diabetes walk to support our friend Macie. Macie was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes last Ocotber. Stephanie is her Mom and she watched Oliver last year when Mommy went to work. We had fun, didn't walk the whole thing--because Oliver prefers the stroller to move fast or he wants out! But we were glad to be there for Macie, a great girl! So we hung out for awhile then went over to the Y to play!
We came home and Oliver took a really long nap and then we played with Daddy. We had a nice dinner and then ate smores by our campfire. It was great! We talked about campfire safety and how to make smores. Oliver and Mommy came in the house for awhile to get ready for bed, then we went back out, Oliver cuddled with Mommy and fell asleep inside really quick- with memories of a warm, crackling campfire....

"Make Good Choices"

Off with Daddy for some fun!
Playing with his car...

Zoom....Zoom

Smiling for the camera at Costco- he liked the Jeep that
was parked next to us!

Today was great! Oliver hung out with Daddy in the morning while Mommy did some things on her own. Daddy and Oliver went to get donuts, starbucks, and ventured to Home Depot. Then they started to work on making out chain link gate a solar powered gate that opens with a button! Oliver helped Daddy a little, then he helped Mommy A LOT with cleaning the house!

When we were getting ready to leave for Costco, Oliver would not put on his hat for the walk to the car. Mommy said to please make good choices so we can go. Oliver walked away and about a minute later, he said, "I make choices." And he put on his hat. He is so, so sweet! Oliver helped Mommy at Costco and he stayed in his cart the whole time! When we came home Oliver took a nice cozy nap.

We ate dinner then Mommy and Oliver finished off the grocery shopping at Albertsons. We got to leave the house without getting out of the car to open and shut the chain link! Daddy's hard work (all day!) paid off-- and now we can push a button and open our gate! The cool thing too is that it won't take any electricity it is solar powered-- yay! We had a wonderful day!

James Patrick

Today we had a busy day! We went to the Y in the morning after taking Daddy to Solana Beach to get his "Special Jeep." Then we visited the cupcake shop in Encinitas to get some treats for our friends. We visited with Eileen and her family and met James Patrick! He is a cutie, and loves to be held by his Mommy! Oliver and Danielle ate cupcakes together and then played, causing chaos throughout the house! Afterwards Oliver and Mommy had a couple of errands to do- then we went to Stephanie's house to pick up our t-shirts for the Jr. Diabetes walk we are going to do in honor of Macie on Sunday! Oliver had a great time visiting with Stephanie and seeing how much the babies have grown.
In the evening we went out to dinner at a cafe with Daddy in "the city." Now he is sleeping soundly- after missing his nap because of our busy Friday!

Swim at the Y

Playing on his car this eveing

Today Oliver played with his friends at Jans. Daddy took Oliver to Jans and they had fun in the morning. After Jans house Mommy and Oliver went to the Y to go swimming. We had so much fun! Oliver is getting really good at kicking, but it was a little too cold to stand on the side and jump in! We had fun seeing Miss Meaghan and giving her a nice pool hug! Oliver even remembered to give her a kiss at the end of the class! Fun! Now he is playing and getting ready to go lay in his big boy bed and have sweet dreams.

Back in the Pool

Cutie Patooty in Daddy's Work Truck
Shouting- "We're going swimming!"
In Daddy's truck!

Oliver had a good day! Mommy and Oliver went on an adventure this morning trying to get to Encinitas. There must have been an accident blocking all the lanes to Del Dios- so after a million trillion traffic lights and about 45 minutes- we finally got to Jan's house. He had a good day and Daddy picked him up since its Mommy's late day.
The boys went to Rico's Taco shop and then to the Y for swim lessons. We haven't been in awhile- so Miss Meghan was so happy to see him! Oliver did everything except go under. Daddy got to experience showering and dressing with Oliver after swim- fun, fun!!! (Danielle, Eileen, Mommy, and Oliver had it down!!!) After they came home and played, watched Sesame Street, and hid under a blanket from Mommy when she came home.
Oliver went to sleep quickly and just a few moments ago he fell out of bed- sleepily he picked himself up and went right back to sleep!

Full Moon and Bob Marley

Full Moon around 4:50 in the evening.
Happy Dancers

Oliver had a good evening. He ate dinner with Mommy and Daddy. He was using his new ghost fan to cool off his egg roll at dinner (thanks Grammie!). Then he told us he wanted to dance! Daddy said to what and Oliver said, "Bob Marley." So Mommy took this wonderful picture of Oliver dancing with Daddy to Bob Marley. Then we all walked up to the water tower to view the full moon, the stars, the planet Venus, and Lake Hodges. It was great! Oliver came back got ready for bed and fell asleep quickly. Nice night with family, Bob, and the moon.

Family Sunday

To Start the November Blog, Mommy decided to use old pictures from the notorious turkey incident at the Del Mar Fair. Oliver and Danielle STILL talk about this and often at random times- there Moms report! This Thanksgiving shall be very, very interesting!
The Turkey that attacked Danielle
Danielle in shock, Oliver worried

Oliver had a wonderful Sunday. He spent the day hanging around the house. Helping Daddy outside and Mommy inside! Oliver got to go to the local nursery with Daddy in Bhuta's truck. They drove past Mommy and Ranger running, it was the cutest thing ever to give both of them kisses in the old truck!
Oliver helped Mommy in the afternoon with the weekly shopping trip and then came home to eat, bathe, and go to sleep early- thanks to the time change.

Happy Halloween

This morning at the Y in his hiking gear- measuring stuff
with his measuring tape

Running down the sidewalk to go trick or treating!
Spooky!
Getting our treats after getting tricked.
At another spooky house!

Happy Halloween. Oliver gets the idea of trick or treating, just didn't want to put his costume on! We got a little spooked at the first house, but we were okay! Oliver didn't have a nap today and woke up really hyper- probably from last night! So today was a funky kind of Halloween! We had fun with the Grandmas and Daddy tonite. Now we can start talking about TURKEYS!!!
