Oliver is getting excited about Christmas. He can sense something in the air. Today he wore his Christmas sweater with trees and a reindeer on it (Grammie picked it out for him!). He was very proud of it. Mama also brought him his own santa hat that he likes wearing, he loves to look at himself in the mirror when he has it on. He had a great time at daycare. After we went to Grammie's house to visit with Grammie and Grandpa. Oliver was playing on (literally, on the box) his kitchen set and talking with his Grandpa.

When we got home we ate dinner with Daddy, while Daddy was playing bird calls on the computer and making us guess what birds they were. Oliver would get all serious when Daddy told us to listen, after dinner Daddy and Oliver looked at the birds on the computer screen and listened to the calls. We learned gosneck hawk, great grey owl, snowy owl, great horned owl, turkeys, red-tailed and red-shouldered hawks, and my favorite the crow! It was fun!

This morning Daddy took Oliver downstairs to play so Mama could get ready for work. When Mama came downstairs the boys were sitting on the kitchen floor in front of the fridge eating a bag of potato chips. Oliver loved it! Mama made sure he got some real nutrients for breakfast!

Oliver got to hang out with his friends today at Stephanie's. He is saying all of their names so well, it is really cute! She has beautiful roses growing in her garden, Oliver and I smelled them on our way in, and on our way out! Oliver loves his friends and Stephanie's family!

On the way home we were listening to a Christmas radio station. Oliver was laughing at one of the songs and shaking his jingle bells to the Jingle Bell song! In the evening Oliver and I had fun eating dinner together and running a last minute errand to get some gifts for coworkers! He had fun helping Mama and he was dressed in his monkey pjs, he got a lot of comments! People just love this little man! (I don't blame them!)

Today was a rainy day. Oliver played with Daddy again in the morning. We poked around the house in the morning and then went running with Ranger. We ran for a long time in the pouring rain, it made Oliver fall asleep and Ranger feisty!

Later we played around the house, Oliver ate a couple pieces from the Advent calendar, its all gone, and these pictures show him frantically searching for the chocolate. I shouldn't have eaten so much chocolate when I was pregnant with him!!! He ate lunch looking out at the beautiful rainy day. Then we did a couple of errands trying to get everything ready for Mama's teaching job. (An observation and Christmas Fun, yeah!!!) We saw Jessica while we were at her house using her printer, and Oliver had fun seeing his Kitty Cat. We had a nice day.

Oliver still misses his Bhuta and he wrote a poem about him today. Oliver is sleeping peacefully now, dreaming of all the people he loves.

Oliver had a great day. We woke up at 7:30, yeah we got to sleep in! He hung out with Daddy, they were sliding down the stairs and jumping off the couch onto a pile of blankets and pillows. Oliver was laughing and having so much fun!

He helped Mama in the kitchen today, when Mama needs to throw something in the trash or recycle it she gives it to Oliver and he does it for her! He knows which is the trash can and which is the recycle! I can't wait to teach him what recycle means!

We went for a nice run with Ranger, did an errand, played with some toys, saw some christmas lights, and now he is sleeping. Such a cute babe!

Oliver woke up early this morning, and got a special surprise! Grandma! She was home for a bit and Oliver got to help her with some things before she went back to the hospital to be with Grandpa. We had a nice breakfast and then went running with Ranger in the rain. Oliver fell asleep on our run, because he was in his little cocoon listening to the raindrops. It was really nice getting soaked and feeling the cold air on my cheeks. Ranger had to keep shaking off the water, FUN!!! (Really.)

We did some errands later and then met Aunt Allison at Grammie's house. Allison (Oliver can say her name!) watched Oliver while Mama went to a dentist appointment. Oliver gave Mama a kiss and a hug goodbye, and was happy to play with Allison. He didn't worry one bit about Mama being gone. He showed Allison all of his secret toy stashes at Grammie's. They had fun, when we came home Oliver was tired since he took such an early nap he went to sleep early. He is sleeping like a baby, and hoping that he gets to see "bhuta" real soon.

Oliver had a good day. He woke up and played with Daddy, he ate Kodiak cakes and a whole entire hard boiled egg. He really liked using Grandpa's syrup on his hotcakes! He helped Mama do some chores and then we went for a really, really long run (now we are getting ready for the Carlsbad 1/2 marathon, Mama's gotta try to beat her time from last year!).

We hung out at Grammie's and ate our lunch. Oliver loves to play with Grammie and her toys. He has a special place in his heart for both of his Grandmas. Later he took a fantastic nap and then woke up to eat dinner and play with Daddy.

After that we went for a nice walk to look at the snowmen, santas, deer, christmas lights and more. He is learning all the essential words for Christmas, I am so proud of him. He is also saying so many new words everyday, it is so cute to hear all these words come out of his little mouth!

Oliver loves snowmen. He sees them on our runs! Today on our run we saw a lot of snowmen. He got all bundled up for our run. After we did some errands and then came home in time to see Grandma. Oliver was very excited to see his Grandma! He showed off his verbal skills, and she got him to say "crazy!"
Later we hung out with Kalyn, we met her at the library center. We went to Hallmark and found out that there are new dancing snowman this year. So in the a tradition that Grandpa started we got the new snowmen. Oliver knows how to press play already! We really like what they sing about, all the Christmas sweets! Oliver hopes to show it to "Bhuta" soon.
In the evening we went to Grammie's house and saw Oliver's 2 aunts and Chad. Oliver had fun playing with everyone. He is sleeping well and probably dreaming of Santa already!

Today Oliver had a good day. He got to play with his friends again and see his Kitty Cat, Patches. He has been repeating a lot of words that Mama says. Like, "Let's see" which I say often because I lose a lot of things and thats what I say when I look for it. Its cute when he says it because he puts the same expression in it that I say it with!

He is missing his Grandma and Grandpa and wants them to know that he loves them a lot.

He is sleeping well tonite.

Oliver had a good day. He got to play with his friends at daycare and see his cat Patches in the evening. His teeth hurt him a little, he has his hands in his mouth a lot but he is one tough little guy! He has gotten a tooth in every corner of his mouth in one week! Crazy!

Today Oliver got to hang out with Daddy in the morning. He was excited to get ready with Daddy. He ate breakfast with both Mama and Daddy. He wouldn't open his mouth for his Yobaby, then Mama said give me what is in your mouth, he smiled, and took like 10 raisins that he had been sucking on out of his mouth. After that he ate his Yobaby! He is so funny!

He had a bit of a hard time being dropped off at Stephanie's, since he hasn't been for a week and since Daddy brought him (which is different from normal). I think Daddy had a hard time too! Its not easy to leave when Oliver cries his sad cry. But he usually calms down pretty fast and really enjoys Stephanie's house.

Mama picked him up after school and came home. We went on a short run and saw all the snowmen and santas lit up! It was pretty. We were happy to see Daddy tonite. Oliver is sleeping well.
