this week!

Oliver had a great day! He woke up and played a little bit, then ate breakfast! Then we were off for a family adventure. We went to Puerto Nuevo which is a bit past Tijuana. We had a great time being Sunday drivers. (Mommy and Daddy used to be Sunday drivers before Oliver was born...)

We had a great time eating lobster, walking around the little town, looking at the ocean, and watching Oliver play with his new truck and trailer made out of simple wood. (It says Los Primos on the trailer and Tecate Beer on the truck. We tried to help him pick out a different one, but thats the one he wanted!)

We came home around 3:00, enough time for Mommy to try and fix our laptop that crashed! Its still in recovery mode---not sure if it will get better :(

Oliver had a fun evening though, playing with Daddy and sitting by the campfire then taking a wonderful warm bath. It was a nice day...

Oliver had a wonderful day! In the morning we went to the Y and saw Danielle dance for a little bit in her beautiful pink leotard and tights. (Mommy can't wait for Oliver's Baby Girl Cousin to be born!!! Little girls are really precious!) After the Y we went over to Grammie's to play for a bit, then came home to try and take a nap. Mommy and Daddy were successful with their cat naps but Oliver wasn't- he just played and climbed all over us!

In the evening we met Aunt Kalyn, Uncle Joey, and Grandma at Islands for a yummy dinner for Aunt Kalyn's 29th Birthday (that is a prime number, something Kalyn is really excited about!) Oliver had so much fun and afterwards he climbed some rocks that were in front of the REI next door. We had a great day with all of our family today.

Oliver had a great Friday. He cuddled with Mommy when he woke up then they played and cleaned up the house a bit. After they went to the Y and had a lot of fun. After the Y we visited with Grammie- we helped with some stuff, a little- and then played some with Aunt Ali. Oliver also got to talk to Uncle Matthew--he was excited that Uncle Matthew and Grammie got him a Monster Truck T-Shirt when they were in Florida together. Oliver and Matthew talked all about the Monster Trucks.
In the evening, Mommy and Oliver ate dinner together, he took a wonderful bath, and then went to sleep pretty quickly since he didn't have a nap today. Daddy is even going to sleep early tonite after an afternoon of shooting guns with Uncle Joey! Big Friday!

Oliver had a great day! He hung out with Daddy in the morning. They took a bath together, Oliver went pee in the potty and then they went to Joan's house. Oliver had a great time at Joan's house. He is ALWAYS laughing and smiling when Mommy picks him up. It is a beautiful thing to see.

Mommy and Oliver visited with Grammie and ate dinner with her. We had fun chatting and playing, then we came home. Oliver went through a bag that Connor gave Mommy at school. There were a bunch of really neat toys that Connor gave to Oliver. Oliver loved the Mater keychain and said, "OOO Mater!" He was really excited and wants to thank Connor in person!

Oliver and Daddy are sleeping out by the TV, they fell asleep watching UFC....Daddy LOVES watching that! Sweet Dreams.

Oliver had a bit of a rough start in the morning with Daddy- But after a lot of patience and love Daddy and Oliver turned the morning around. Oliver drove to Joan's in the special jeep. He had fun playing at Joan's- he was playing with a balloon when she got there! They were bumping them on their bodies- so cute!

We came home and Oliver had to go poo poo! Guess what? He sat on his potty and went pee pee and then went poo poo! Mommy is so proud of him, she told him so, and Oliver said, "Thank you." It was a great evening.

Oliver had a great Tuesday. He did a great job getting ready real quick in the morning and headed to Joan's house. He had tons of fun there and then Daddy picked him up!

Oliver and Daddy went to put a new sink in for Grandma! They ate dinner with her and had fun! Oliver brought Mommy a little mini cookie home (Daddy said he had been holding it for about an hour!) Oliver and Mommy ate their mini cookies together- Oliver called Mommy, "Honey." So sweet!

Oliver and Mommy fell asleep on the sleeping bag after a great discussion and some wonderful cuddling.

Oliver had a great day! He layed in bed with Daddy until the sun came up (Mommy leaves really really early some mornings to exercise and get to work "early.") Oliver told Mommy he layed with Daddy till the sun came up....so cute! Then they played and made their way to Joan's at a leisurely pace. He had a great time at Joan's- playing, eating, imagining, creating, napping, and more! Mommy picked him up and they came home to play and eat dinner with Daddy.



Oliver wanted to call Grammie tonite to see if she had his pink sippy cup. She does, but he talked to her for awhile about her trip to Great Grandpa's house in Florida this past weekend, and more stuff. He walked around the house while he talked to Grammie- he is really enjoying his recent phone conversations!



Then Mommy, Oliver, and Ranger went for a short walk down to the neighborhood to get some fresh air and relax before going ni-ni. Oliver fell asleep visualizing his Uncle Matthew driving a big truck across the country past water, trees, and animals. We wished Uncle Matthew a safe drive home from Florida before Oliver nodded off.

Oliver had a great Sunday. He played with Daddy in the morning while Mommy met Eileen at the Y to exercise. Daddy and Oliver tried to get donuts but the donut store was closed so they got yummy bagels instead! Then they went to Home Depot! Afterwards they drove to meet Mommy at Grandma's house where Mommy was feeding some sweet cats while Grandma is away.

Mommy and Oliver spent the rest of the day together. We played and Oliver had a very restful nap, then we played and he ate a bunch of different things for dinner. All things he requested! After he played more and then we went for a walk with Ranger. We took a nice long walk in the nice cool air and there were some beautiful stars out.

It was a great Sunday.

Oliver had a great day! We started the morning by watching the Amerigas truck back up our drive. It was pretty cool! Oliver had fun watching him and playing outside while the man was checking for leaks and relighting our pilot lights!

Afterwards we made our way to the Y! It was really busy today in the lobby (open house) but Oliver led the way and made it to ChildWatch! He had a lot of fun playing! He got to see Donna and Leela, two of his favorites! Afterwards we went and played at the open house kids expo area, and then he got to see Miss Meghan! It was fun-- even though we had to walk far to get to our car!!!

Afterwards we ate lunch together and then came home to play! Oliver didn't nap, but he was so great playing while Mommy had to do some yucky "reportwriting" for school... But she finished and he was so helpful! He played with his horse, car, and more! He is very into imaginative play! He also called Grammie tonite! He had a very thoughtful and long conversation with her without Mommy's help!

He is working on going to sleep now with Daddy. He is in his Moose jammies and smells like orange from his bath! Great day!

Playwerx!!

Oliver had a wonderful day with Mommy. We hung around the house for awhile and then were off for the Y. Mommy had to do a lot of redirection and explaining to get Oliver out of his dirty black t-shirt. (It seems that he has chosen his clothes as his "loveys" over the past few months.)

After a wonderful time at the Y we were off for Playwerx. Oliver had so so much fun running around and playing! In the past Mommy has gone with Oliver but today she couldn't keep up with him, so he is pretty safe in that crazy jungle! Mommy did go down the crazy steep slippery slide a few times!!!

Afterwards we came home, Oliver didn't have a nap today but was asleep by 7:00! He had a great day full of play and love.
