Oliver had another wonderful day. He played with Daddy in the morning (toys were everywhere when Mommy came home) then they went to Joan's house. Oliver was so cute when Mommy picked him up he was napping with Elmo. Cutie Patooty!

We met Grandma at the Y and walked around with her. She might join! Oliver is so excited, he wants to see Grandma exercise at the Y! Afterwards we made our way home, past the beautiful lake. We ate dinner with Daddy, cuddled and watched some trucks and cars, and now Oliver is working on getting ready for ni-ni. Great day for Oliver.

Oliver had a great day. In the morning he played with Daddy at home and then went to Joan's house. He is really enjoying Joan and Sue next door with her bunch of kiddos. He loves the positive atmosphere and his new friends! Mommy picked him up in the afternoon and we went home to have fun together. We ate dinner with Daddy and then took a bath together. We both fell asleep really really fast, Daddy too!

Oliver had another great day at Joan's house! He is really enjoying his new friends! Daddy picked him up in the afternoon and they went to Grandma's again where they ate dinner and worked on her sink some more! Oliver was very excited to see Grandma again!

Later when Mommy came home, Oliver and her cuddled on the couch and watched a little bit of cars. Oliver was super excited when, "Life is a Highway" came on and he talked about it being Connor's song and he was dancing on the couch. He is adorable!

He fell asleep with Mommy on his sleeping bag listening for bats again.

First Day at Joan's

Oliver had a wonderful morning cuddling with Mommy and getting ready for a day at Joan's house- his new daycare. He was really excited to play with new friends and toys. He gave Mommy a big hug and kiss and was off to play! He ate yummies, took a wonderful nap with friends, and played a lot!

Daddy picked him up in the afternoon and they went to Grandma's house to fix her sink! Oliver helped Daddy and played with Grandma. When they came home he told Mommy all about Joan's and Grandma- it was wonderful! Mommy and Oliver took Ranger for a walk around the neighborhood below, read a good book about Bats at the Beach, and then turned the lights off and fell asleep listening for Bats outside Oliver's window. It was a great day.

Oliver had a wonderful Sunday. He slept in and woke to a beautiful morning sun. He played with Mommy and Daddy then went to the Y with Mommy. Afterwards, we stopped by Costco to get a few things....Oliver had fun riding in the cart and helping Mommy. After we came home.

Oliver got ready and then went to Miramar with Daddy in the work jeep. He had so much fun! They saw a big airplane flying low, a coyote, drove in a puddle and had a lot of fun! Oliver took a great nap on the way home and woke up in a really great mood!

He had a great dinner and then took a wonderful bath with tons and tons of bubbles. He is getting ready for bed now and a big day tomorrow!

Oliver had a great day. In the morning he played with Daddy and he ate a big bowl of yummy oatmeal! Afterwards he played a lot more around the house and then he went to Trader Joes with Mommy to stock up on some yummies. Afterwards he had a great long nap and then we all made our way over to Grammie and Grandpa's house. They watched Oliver while Mommy and Daddy went on a date. Oliver had fun bringing his race car and riding around-- he scared Haley a bit- Uncle Matthew's doggy....Oliver had a great time hanging out with his Uncle too! He was eating pizza when Mommy and Daddy came to pick him up!!! He had a lot of fun today!

We had a great New Year's Day! We started our morning with a fresh air bike ride to Coco's Diner down the street! It was fun biking, eating, and then biking back home! Oliver brought his baby puppy and his lightening McQueen car! After he ate his pancakes and a lot of Mommy's oatmeal we left for home! We played for a bit at home and then Grandma came over!

Mommy and Oliver went on an adventure with Grandma! We traveled to Corona and went to Tom's Farms! We had fun eating lunch (really yummy cheeseburgers and Oliver ate a hot dog that was Indian style! Just like Bhuta liked them.) We had fun watching Oliver on the tractor and he liked looking at all the rides. (They are only open on weekend days- we will go back soon!) We had fun at the popcorn shop, looking in some of the furniture store (we couldn't get Oliver to get off the leather recliner to go look at the rest of the store...), and we had fun getting some yummy sourdough bread. We saw a lot of motorcycles there, it was great fun and we can't wait to go back. On the way home Oliver was sleepy but didn't sleep...we skipped going to the outlets in Lake Elsinore- we'll go back when Oliver is in a shopping mood!

In the evening Oliver watched more Monster Truck and Jeep Crawling youtube videos with Daddy. He is getting ready for Jan. 23rd- Monster Truck Show!!! He is dreaming now--probably of popcorn and big trucks and tractors....

Oliver had a fantastic day! He played in the morning and then we went over to Grammie and Grandpas! Oliver played for a bit with them while Mommy went to the Y then Grammie, Oliver and Mommy went to get Oliver's haircut! We had to wait a bit so we ate lunch together and hung out at our favorite coffee shop and went in our very favorite Hallmark store! Oliver was ready for the "Barbie Car" we had to wait for a bit longer because another boy was getting his haircut... When it was Oliver's turn he did an awesome job! Karin said we should videotape Oliver because he is a great example of how a child's haircut should go! (Even though he wouldn't get in right away---I had to tell him he could play "Connor's Song" on the radio in the car--which is "Life is A Highway!") He had fun and got something from the treasure box. Grammie had fun watching her little buddy too!

After we came home and played with Daddy. We had to visit Henry's to get our seafood collection which we wanted to eat on New Year's Eve. Oliver did an awesome job with the cart and people were very impressed. He is very considerate of the other shoppers! When an aisle was clear though he would pretend he was "Dinoco" the blue Lightening McQueen car! He was so fast!

We had a great evening and everyone in the McCain household is getting ready for bed (7:30 pm not 12:00 am....)

Monster Truck Preview

Watching Monster Truck Shows- Getting Ready for January 23rd!!!

Oliver had a good day. In the morning he went for a bike ride with Daddy and they got pancakes together- yum -yum. Oliver even got to bring his baby dog on the ride! Afterwards he played with Daddy and then Mommy. Mommy and Oliver met Amanda at Souplantation for lunch. Oliver was a wild monkey but had fun seeing Amanda. Afterwards, we came home and he took a nice nap.

In the evening we had a nice time playing and relaxing! He took another bath!!! He is now sleeping probably dreaming of all the new toys that he got from all his family and friends for Christmas!

Oliver had a pretty good day. He played around the house and then we went over to visit Grammie and Grandpa. Oliver stayed for a bit while Mommy went to the Y. We played together later, Oliver didn't have a nap this afternoon and was a bit fussy because he has a cold. When he wants his nose wiped he points and says, "this nostril." Mommy taught him that yesterday- its pretty cute! He played with Daddy outside when Daddy got home from his long hike in San Pasqual.

In the evening he ate some yummies, took a nice bath with Mommy, read one of our favorite books, and went to ni-ni. Sweet dreams Oliver.
