Today we had fun together! Oliver and Mommy played and then went to the Y again. We had fun in the lobby cuddling and talking. After we went to Hallmark where Oliver talked to "Santa" and played with a snow globe. He asked Santa for a snow globe for Christmas....

After a wonderful nap Grandma came over and brought some yummy Ricos. We ate with her and then went to Christmas Card Lane- again! We met Shelley, Scott, Lily, and Emmi and had so much fun! We walked around the same loop and Mommy was able to take tons of pics- it wasn't as crowded as Sunday! We even drove out on one of the streets we didn't walk on...we had a great cold evening with family.

Mommy's Helper

Oliver had another fantastic day. Oliver and Mommy went to the Y in the morning and exercised and played. After we stopped by Henry's, and Oliver used the little cart so well! Then we went to Mommy's school to finish shelving books with Amanda. Oliver got to see Julianne too!!! Afterwards Oliver helped Mommy with her hair! Oliver loved Jordan Mommy's hairstylist, and he was such a good boy there! He watched Mommy get her hair washed too!!! It was a lot of fun!

After an awesome nap, Oliver, Mommy, and Daddy ate dinner and played around the house. We are watching Charlie Brown's Christmas now, getting ready for a warm, happy holiday.

**Mommy just wanted to add that she felt so lost without a camera that takes pics fast and can fit in her pocket, she is so excited!***

Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

Today we had a great day. We played in the morning then were off for the Y. We had fun watching people swim today, we may try it again soon. After we headed over to Target to get a few things, Oliver loves going there! Then we headed home, Oliver took a really good nap. He stayed up late and still woke up early so he made up for that with his nap!

In the evening we met up with the Blough family (Connor and Tanner!!!) to go walk around Christmas Card Lane. We had a blast! Oliver was super excited to see his buddies, besides every house being decorated with lights, we saw three houses with trains, a sleigh pulled by horses, a big hummer limo, and lots of big Charter buses- which means tons of people! Fun! We had a great time....we may go again....

We had a great evening at our "house on the mountain." We had about 15 people come to our celebration of the Winter Solstice (the shortest day of the year, which will actually happen on Monday.) We had a yummy dinner with lots of yummy sweets, a campfire which we roasted s'mores in, and the kiddos played like crazy inside and outside. It was really nice hanging out with family and friends!

Oliver had a great day! We played in the morning and then we went to the Y. Oliver was excited to play with toys and kids! After the Y we visited with Grammie before she leaves to Florida to help Great Grandpa Headdy. We had fun playing and chatting. We came home and Oliver took a really nice nap. Afterwards we all ate dinner together and then Oliver took a shower. First he ran around the house naked! He had fun!

In the evening Oliver, Ranger, and Mommy drove around the neighborhood below us to look at the Christmas lights. There are a few that we want to show Daddy!

Also lately, Oliver has been saying, "Sure" whenever Mommy asks him if he wants something or if he wants to go somewhere. Its pretty cute!

*Santa (Grandpa) gave Mommy an early Christmas present, a camera just like the one that fell off her bumper...but this one is pink! Yay! Now Mommy can keep capturing life happening....*

Playdate with Connor

Oliver had a great morning with Daddy. They hung out at home and then drove together to Mommy's school. They made a pit stop at Ricos for a burrito and quesadilla for breakfast, then Daddy dropped off Oliver at Mommy's school. Yes, the teachers are on break now- but we all wanted to fix our mini school library. Oliver played in Mommy's classroom and then played with Connor for the rest of the time! They played so nicely together for about 3 to 4 hours!!! Its pretty cool to see Mommy's scholar with Mommy's Owl!!!

Right after school we went to see Dentist Davis to have him make sure Oliver's teeth were doing good after last weeks appointment. He said they were beautiful and encouraged Oliver to let Mommy and Daddy brush them!!! Oliver got a monster truck as a prize- so of course he was too excited about it to take a nap! We came home and played then went grocery shopping to stock up on goodies for our Winter Solstice Celebration. Oliver put 2 quarters in a young man's guitar case because he was playing his guitar and singing beautiful music outside the store. Other children gathered around and danced. It was nice to see that right by our house!

In the evening he sat with Daddy by the campfire then they went ni-ni by the TV watching Sesame Street. It was a nice day.

Oliver- Summer 2008

Oliver took a short break from his jammies to put on his jeans and work boots. He went to "the mtns" with Daddy this morning to open traps, measure animals, and release them. Oliver had fun riding in the work car and helping Daddy.

Later Daddy dropped Oliver off at Aunt Ali's house and Oliver helped Aunt Ali at the store, then around the house, then they came to Mommy's work! Oliver was sleeping so we let him sleep for awhile, then we went to Rubio's where all the teachers and some scholars were going to have dinner. Oliver didn't really feel like eating, so we left, kissed Allison bye-bye- took awhile to get in the car seat and then came home to play.

Oliver is asleep now after laying in the papasan watching Elmo Bedtime. (Oliver pretended he was a bird in a nest in the round papasan!)

Rusty

Oliver spent the day with Aunt Allison and her new dog Rusty. Oliver had great fun, he took an early nap when Aunt Ali, Rusty and Oliver went for a walk in the running stroller. They had fun playing together. When Mommy left, Oliver was pretty stoked to be with his Aunt Allison- he told Mommy to have fun as she drove away!


We came home and Oliver played some more, he had a bit of a tantrum when Mommy made him take a shower and wash his jammies that he has been wearing for 4 days in a row. He finally has them back on and after long warm cuddles (he was wearing only his diaper while his clothes were being washed and dried) from Mommy and Daddy- he is back in his clean moose jammies and is going ni-ni with Daddy. Sleep tight Moosehead.

This evening Mommy can't write that much because she couldn't talk to Grammie or Daddy about Oliver's day! Mommy had to be at work late for the scholars' Holiday Show. Mommy knows Oliver had fun with Grammie and he took a nap!!! She will write more later when she finds out something funny that Oliver did!!!

Mommy is just glad though that when she came home Daddy was sleeping and Oliver was still awake lying next to Daddy- so Mommy and Oliver got to cuddle for awhile!

We had a good day. Oliver and Mommy started the morning at the Y, we had fun playing! After we ran a few Holiday errands and then made our way back home for more play and a nice nap. In the evening we went to Ranch Penasquitos and walked around a neighborhood where everyone puts up Christmas lights and decorations. Our play group was there too, but we were a little late and missed walking with them, but we ran into them! We did walk with Danielle and her family (they were late too....) it was fun seeing all the characters, the house with a train on the lawn and so much more. It was great fun and we are thinking we want to bring Daddy there!
