Today is the 11th anniversary of Uncle Tommy's death. Just as we are missing Bhuta a lot, we miss Tommy a lot too. Tommy was very special and we will always remember him. And just as we are keeping Bhuta's memory alive for Oliver, we are trying to tell Oliver who and what Tommy Oliver McCain was like!!!

So if you have a memory you want to share about Tommy or you have a special thought to share we would love for it to be posted for Oliver.

We are ready for our Winter Solstice Campout...

Oliver got to go to Grandma's this morning for a little while, while Daddy and Mommy worked. Oliver and Grandma went for a walk to see the horses and they also saw a goat, wow! Oliver brought home some art work with stickers! He said that he had fun!

In the evening we all ate dinner together and now Oliver and Mommy are watching Bedtime with Elmo! Nighty-Nite!

Oliver had a good day with Daddy. They went to the Wild Animal Park for awhile! They saw lots of animals and two shows! They even went on a train ride! Oliver came home and missed his Mommy and luckily Mommy got to come home early on her "late Tuesday!" So Mommy and Oliver ate dinner together, walked to the mailbox (Mommy wore Oliver!), and then played a little! Now he is going to sleep early with his Daddy....

Aunt Kalyn has the best memory! She saw a clip about this dog and remembered that Oliver met it last August at a Padres Game! Cool! Here is the link to the info, we even remeember the lady was super, duper nice!

Oliver had a great day! In the morning he hung out with Grammie while Mommy exercised. Oliver is having fun having mini visits with Grammie! Oliver then went home with Mommy- we played and got ready to have Grandma, Uncle Joey, and Aunt Kalyn over. They came over for some yummy lunch that Grandma brought. Oliver loved her Lentil Soup. It was tasty! Then Oliver showed everyone his new baby chickens. Oliver decided that Grandma gets her own chicken! Its a little brown one and he calls it, "Grandma's Chicken!" We had a nice time. After they left, Oliver took a nice nap, then we played more and ate dinner.

Oliver ate his whole corn on the cob! (He eats it just like Bhuta used too! Bhuta would be very proud of him!) After dinner he ate some yummy pumpkin bars Mommy made (while he showered with Daddy) and now he is trying to fall asleep on his own! Great Sunday!

Oliver had a great day! Daddy was busy skinning his deer- its hanging from the oak tree in the picture, Oliver watched a bit from the window. Daddy took it the butched shop to get it nicely cut so we can have venison for a long time. Daddy made sure he said, "Thank you" to the deeer after he shot it last night near the mountains (not at our house...).

Oliver and Mommy were busy bees around the house this morning, then we took Ranger for a 5 mile run, the weather was perfect! We came home and Oliver lifted some hand weights with Mommy, then we ran some errands. Oliver took a nice nap- and woke up just in time to go to Danielle's 2nd Birthday! It was great fun- Oliver got to see all of his friends, eat a yummy cupcake that Akane made, and play play play! He is sleeping now! Happy that Danielle is two just like him!

Oliver had a great day. He played with Grammie in the morning while Mommy exercised. Grammie has been traveling a lot and wanted some playtime with Oliver, they played kitchen together! Then Mommy took Oliver to the dentist and to the Doctor. Oliver is fine, we just needed to get some checkups! We came home and he took a nap, then Grammie came over to check out our new driveway and garage door! Then we ventured to World Market (2 miles down the road-danger!) to get some bookshelves, to complete the inside of our comfy home! We ate at Pat and Oscars for dinner and Aunt Ali met us there too! It was a nice day.

When we got home Daddy was hard at work, getting his first deer ready for the butcher! He is going to finish skinning it and taking it to the butcher in the morning. Oliver will get to go with Daddy. (Mommy doesn't want to put pictures on the blog, maybe after it is cut into venison steaks....) Good Job Daddy!

Swim

Oliver had a good day at Jan's, he was playing up a storm when Mommy came to pick him up. Oliver and Mommy went to the Y to play and wait an hour for swim class to start. We met a sweet little girl and saw one of Mommy's scholars! It was fun. But then when it came time to put on his swimsuit- he would not cooperate! Ugh...so we watched some swimmers and then we talked to Ms. Meaghan. Oliver still wouldn't put on his suit, so I guess we will be taking a break for awhile and just go to family swim!

After we met Grammie at Coffee Bean for a free Holiday drink. It was fun, then Oliver showed Grammie around the Pet Store. He loves all the birds in the store! He fell asleep on the way home after a long day of play.

Oliver got to spend the day with Mommy. We had fun hanging out in the morning and then going to the Y! He played, Mommy exercised, then we watched people swimming for about 20 minutes- we sat on the bleachers. Then we ran a few errands and got the car washed.

Oliver fell asleep for a bit, then woke back up and wouldn't go back to sleep, so we went to the mall to pick something up. Oliver had fun playing while Mommy was trying on a dress, then he had a lot of fun when Mommy was in line to get her free item at Victoria's Secret- (he will love this picture when he is older!)

In the evening we had fun around the house, Oliver was a bit crazy- so Mommy decided not to go visit some old friends for yogurt- she helped Oliver settle down instead. He is now sleeping peacefully on the floor in his room!

Oliver spent the afternoon with Daddy, since it is Tuesday! Oliver and Daddy went to Rico's for dinner, then to Quail Botantical Gardens before swim at the Y! They had a good time, Oliver got poked by a cactus, and then they played at the new kids section of the gardens. They had a pretty good time at swim. Oliver is a bit scared to go under- he thinks that the drain is going to take him to the ocean... Mommy will talk to Ms. Meaghan about this on Thursday! Oliver came home and cuddled with Mommy and watched some Charlie Brown. We can't wait to spend the day together tomorrow!
