I will run away

Playing with Emmi and Lily a week ago
Hanging with his good friend

Today Oliver rode to Jan's in the morning with Daddy. Oliver took a shower with Daddy and had fun with him in the morning! Mommy picked Oliver up and then went to Grammie's house. We haven't seen her in a long time. Then we went out to dinner and Aunt Jessica came along. Oliver said, "I will run away." And then he did....Aunt Jessica caught him! We went through the toy store and then went home. We are working on going to sleep now.....soon.....

Courdereds

Unloading the dishwasher
He sets all the dishes above on the counter for Mommy to put away!

He puts away the silverware himself (see right) he just tosses it
in the drawer! He is so helpful!

This morning Oliver was getting dressed with the help of Mommy. We opened the drawer with his pants in it and he said he wanted to wear his courdereds. (Mommy told him about two weeks ago that his corduroys were corduroys, and he obviously remembered!) So he got dressed and then we went grocery shopping, then to Sears to drop off Mommy's car to get a tune up, then off to the Y in Daddy's Jeep! We dropped Daddy off at Grandma's but she wasn't there- Oliver said, "I didn't see Grandma!" Hopefully he sees her soon- he can't wait to see his other Grammie tomorrow! Then we had fun at the Y and at Mommy's classroom! He ran to greet Amanda- he is growing very fond of her! He even knows which car is hers in the parking lot!
Oliver took a great nap and then played with Mommy, helped her clean (he unloaded the dishwasher himself again!), made dinner, and took a bath! He even watched a little Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin- getting ready for Saturday night!
It was a nice Sunday.

Gelato Boy

Holding his Gelato with two hands- We were walking to a
bench to people watch.
Oliver had a great day! We went in the morning to the Y and then helped Daddy do some car swapping for work. We drove to San Diego to do this and Daddy took us to his favorite quick Thai restaurant- fun! Oliver fell asleep on the way back to the lot where we did more car swapping- Mommy is lucky he fell asleep because she had to drive stick shift and she is not as smooth as she used to be! Daddy and Oliver went home then and Mommy went to work on report cards at the library. As soon as she got home Daddy was ready to go hunting and Mommy was ready to go to the mall with Oliver! We had fun, Oliver ate dinner and had some gelato! We came home took a bath and now we are getting sleepy!

Two hot air balloons and a spider watching all
the Halloween fun!

We watched him run down the slide later- almost landing on his face!
Sliding to his friend

Oliver had a great day with Mommy. We went to the Y in the morning and played- he ran in without even giving Mommy a hug- he was so excited to play! Then we ran a few errands. We ran into Grandma in the same center and she surprised Oliver! Afterwards we went home and rested-then Oliver and Mommy cleaned the house a little and then made their way to a playgroup event at a park in Cardiff. We decorated Halloween cookies and Grandma and Mommy made a bat, ghost, bead necklace together- with the help of Oliver. It was fun! We love seeing all the new babies and the two year olds in our playgroup! Mommy, Eileen, Danielle, and Oliver were the last to leave the park and it was a little spooky with the fog quickly rolling in- perfect end to a perfect afternoon! We had a fun Friday!

Dishwasher Man

Oliver and Uncle Kelly on Saturday
at Uncle Kelly's RC Track (in his backyard!)
Oliver watching as the RC passed!
It broke soon after- then he watched Uncle Kelly work on it
in his garage!

Oliver had a good day today. After Jan's he went with Mommy to her classroom and they worked for awhile before heading home. We ordered a yummy pizza and ate dinner with Daddy. While we were waiting for pizza, Oliver emptied most of the dishwasher for Mommy. He put all the silverware away and set all the other stuff on the counter. Mommy didn't even ask him to do it! (Pretty cool!!!)

He is sleeping snuggly in his little camping bed....

Helping in the Classroom

Helping with our new bookshelves
Putting the pegs in

Washing his hands in our sink
Today Oliver had fun with his friends. He took an awesome nap as always and ate some good snacks! Mommy picked him up soon after school ended and brought him to her class! We had fun together-- and then we got our shipment of new bookshelves. We fit 8 big shelves into our tiny classroom that holds 40 kids and two teachers! Fun, fun, fun!!! Oliver has so much fun there and is getting used to helping Mommy with her work. He also loves all the teachers...
We came home to eat dinner together, and later saw Daddy when he came home from working on Miramar. Sleep time for all of us now....

Lobster in the Kitchen, in the Morning!

6:30 in the Morning- Playing with a Lobster
Good Morning!

Talking about the different parts of a Lobster!
Oliver had a good day! In the morning Daddy told us his Lobster Night Free Diving Tales- he is so brave! Then he shared his lobster with us! It is always fun to see a live lobster crawling around in your kitchen!!!
He played at Jan's and was very happy to see Mommy when she got there! He gave Mommy a big hug and was off to Mommy's classroom! We had fun working and playing- then Grandma came by to see Mommy's classroom and go out to dinner with Mommy and Oliver. We went to Panera and ate dinner! Oliver shared Grandma's soup with her- Yummo! Afterwards we walked a few stores away to the toy store. Oliver was fascinated by the Fire Engine at the entrance- but slowly found his way to some other treasures. Grandma got him a fun little VW Bus that rolls really far. He loves it! He played with it on the way home and got his finger stuck in one of the windows! Mommy had to pull over and play doctor to get his finger out. We were scared for a sec, but then we thought it was pretty funny! Now he knows not to put his finger in the windows! We had a lot of fun going out with Grandma!
When we got home Oliver and Daddy layed on the couch together and then Oliver went ni-ni.

Math Lessons

Writing on Mrs. Blough's Board
Counting his YMCA money with Connor

Oliver had a good day. Mommy picked him up at Jan's house right after school and brought him back to school. He cuddled with Mommy and then warmed up a little to the Teacher meeting! Oliver played with Connor (one of Mommy's students and a teacher's son!). Connor and Oliver were working on math! Connor was having Oliver estimate the amount of candy corn in a jar- Oliver was counting on his fingers and taking some cues from his buddy Connor. Then they counted out the change in Oliver's owl wallet! They were having a good time!
In the evening- Oliver ate dinner with Mommy, took a warm bath, watched a little Elmo, and then went to bed! He can't wait to hear stories from Daddy tomorrow- he is Lobster diving with Uncle Tommy's old friend Tai!!!

Boys helping Clean the House

Oliver emptying the dishwasher
Boys Vacumming

Today Oliver and Mommy went to the Y in the morning. Oliver wanted his nametag, a hug, and then he was off through the little door to play and have fun. He made Aunt Ronnie some art which we gave to her when we went to visit with Ronnie, Katy and Grandma. (Before that we stopped by Mommy's classroom to do a couple things- Oliver loves it!)

After Grandma's we met Daddy and he took Oliver for a drive. Oliver took a nice nap and then they came home to help Mommy clean the house. Mommy has been feeling a bit overwhelmed with cleaning the house and working full-time and being a Mommy- she can't keep up....so the boys helped today! It went really fast and was so nice!
