Oliver is Loved

Today Oliver got to hang out with Daddy in the morning. He was excited to get ready with Daddy. He ate breakfast with both Mama and Daddy. He wouldn't open his mouth for his Yobaby, then Mama said give me what is in your mouth, he smiled, and took like 10 raisins that he had been sucking on out of his mouth. After that he ate his Yobaby! He is so funny!

He had a bit of a hard time being dropped off at Stephanie's, since he hasn't been for a week and since Daddy brought him (which is different from normal). I think Daddy had a hard time too! Its not easy to leave when Oliver cries his sad cry. But he usually calms down pretty fast and really enjoys Stephanie's house.

Mama picked him up after school and came home. We went on a short run and saw all the snowmen and santas lit up! It was pretty. We were happy to see Daddy tonite. Oliver is sleeping well.

This morning we hung out with family. We then went for a long run, seeing lots of snowmen, trains, presents, merry go rounds, deer, pretty lights, wow, people decorate a lot here! On our way back on the fire road, we passed 2 women on horses. They stopped and we got to pet the horses. One was very curious and got very close to Oliver, he laughed, he loved it! The horse licked Mama's hand and showed us his teeth! Oliver said "horsey" (I wish I had my camera!).
Later we visited Grandpa at the hospital, Oliver stayed with Aunt Katy, while Mama saw Grandpa and Grandma. Grandpa is doing well and his spirit is so strong. He kept making Mama laugh.... We love him, Oliver is so lucky to have his "bhuta!"


We had a nice evening and are hoping that our Daddy gets better, he got sick with what Oliver had. And we are thinking about Grandpa tonite.

This blog is for yesterday, I couldn't get online in the evening.

Oliver and I went for a nice run. We went to the doctor and found that his vomitting is from the fluid from his ear draining into his tummy and when mixed with food his tummy gets upset. He was a super good sport at the doctors. Dr. Rubin is very gentle with Oliver, I think she is our favorite Dr. so far! He is still taking his amoxicillan. Daddy calls it candy, Oliver takes it very well when Daddy gives it to him! Later we did some errands and then hung out at home, playing and decorating the beautiful Christmas Tree.

Today Mama was feeling a bit better, she got to sleep in while Daddy and Oliver played. After a yummy breakfast Mama and Oliver went for a long run. We came home and got ready and then went to a late lunch with Daddy. We took a nice drive and Oliver fell asleep. When we got home, Oliver got to see his Great Uncle Jack. He enjoyed showing him pictures of trucks from his book.

Later Oliver played with Grandma....they have so much fun together. He was squealing with delight! After dinner we got ready for bed and the poor babe vomitted again. Mama is going to take him to the doctors tomorrow....He was fine all day, but we need to find out why this keeps happening! He is sleeping peacefully now.

Oliver woke up early and Mama couldn't get up! She felt so sick! So Oliver played with Daddy for a couple of hours, then went over to Grammie's house so Mama could rest. (Daddy went scuba diving while we were gone! He was "attacked by a hiding halibut") Oliver played and had fun with lots of his toys. We came home and took a long nap, Oliver woke up and went and played with Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa, while Mama slept more. In the evening we went for a short drive to see Christmas lights and get frozen yogurt. Oliver had a nice day.

Getting Better

Today Oliver spent the day recuperating. He had a pretty bad night. He threw up a few times and spent half of the night crying. I asked him where it hurt, he hadn't been in pain when he vomitted so the crying was a little unexpected. He looked at me when I asked him about his hurt and he said, "teeth." And then he put his hand to his right cheek. He is so smart, that he could tell me and show me! So on top of being sick he welcomed a new tooth last night. Poor little guy.


In the morning we went over to Aunt Jessica's to spend the day. We played, cuddled, ate, played, slept, and later went for a fresh air walk with Aunt Jessica and Aunt Katy. Oliver had fun looking at these really cool minature carnival pieces in a shop window. They moved, ferris wheel, ice skating rink, swings, and merry go round. Oliver likes to observe. He is sleeping better tonite.

Oliver is not feeling well. Mama had to pick him up from daycare right after she dropped him off! We went to the doctors because he has vomitted a few times. He has an infected ear (which he does not complain about!) and had a viral infection. He is on anitbiotics now and is not going to daycare tomorrow. He will be with Mama trying to get better. He is still in good spirits and is handling the throwing up very well.


Aunt Jessica let us hang out at her apartment for awhile and helped take care of and play with the little man. Oliver loves all of his Aunts so much!

Oliver had another good day. He went to Stephanie's and played with the kids. Then we went to the library afterwards. We read a whole book together!!!! (It was short, but it counts!) We colored a picture of Santa Claus, and worked on colors! He is such a good listener too! He walked the basket of crayons back to the librarians! He is getting really good at that!

On the way home we saw a lot of christmas lights up, he learned to say "pretty!" We had a great day!

Oliver had another great day at Stephanie's. Her house is all decked out for the holidays and Oliver and the kids love it!!! Oliver had a great time there today! After I picked him up we went to Grammie's house and looked at all of her Christmas stuff too! Then we went for a short run, and then off to swim class! Daddy came and watched us! Oliver ate Grandma's yummy soup and loved it! Then he went to sleep very easily! We had a busy, full, awesome day!

Oliver had a great day! He went to Stephanie's because Mama has to work all week. He was smiling before we even turned onto her street! He loves "NiNi" and the kids. When we got home we went for a short run to Henrys and picked up a few things. He loves Henrys! When we got home he played with Daddy and then ate dinner. After dinner he showed off his new Pajamas to Grandma and Grandpa and now he is fast asleep next to Daddy. (Both of them are snoring!!! I love them!)
